Stu is the proud father of a 14 year son. He enjoys the outdoors and hunting and fishing are just a couple of his favorites hobbies. "Anything that goes fast!" is what will catch Stu's interest the most. Stu loves being a certified technician for Precision Door Service because he says he really loves to teach people about the largest moving part of their home. He enjoys meeting new people every day and the challenges that are presented with each new assignment. Stu's other interests include working on computers and electronics. He loves when his mind is challenged.

Precision rebuilt my garage door last August and the tech was patient, knowledgeable, and answered all of my many questions. I learned so much that day! When it was below zero last week, the door wouldn't close, so I called again and they sent someone out right away. Stu was GREAT. It was the unit, not the door, and it was due to the cold (it worked fine when he arrived!), but there was no charge and he was very informative about our options. Plus we learned the key pad wasn't working due to the battery needing changing. Top notch company.

We chose Precision because of the Ad in our local phone book that said 24-hr service. We couldn't be happier with the quality and service we received. Stu did an absolutely fantastic job of repairing our garage door. I thought it was beyond repair but now it's close to good as new. He was polite, professional and an all around great guy. Stu came out today and fixed our door guide. Thank you for the great service. It is always a pleasure to do business with people who understand that their real business is service not the products. It is getting harder and harder to find people committed to providing quality service like Stu. I spent more than forty years as a consulting engineer and our product was not documents for bidding but service to our clients. What made my job fun was helping our clients solve their issues related to wastewater treatment and conveyance. Your technicians called before they arrived. When they showed up one man did the estimate. Then when I decided what serive they would perform, one person did ALL the work. The other person sat in the truck and did NOTHING! Thought this was very inefficient, may have been able to complete the work faster if both persons had been working on the fix. Work was done well and am happy with the completed job. Will recommend your service to anyone who needs work.

Great service overall. Easy and quick appointment. Our technician, Stu, arrived first thing in the morning, on time along with a reminder phone call. He was very knowledgeable and explained the problems and the steps to fix the door. I was concerned that we would be given an immediate sales pitch for a new door since the door in question was from the 80s. We were instead met with great service repair of the old door in less than 30 minutes! I realize our very old door will eventually fail completely so I asked about a new door. Stu took measurements, explained options, and was not all forceful on selling the option. I now feel prepared with a replacement solution as I know..and Stu knew, that eventually my older door is going to permanently fail. Thanks for the honesty and speed of service. I will be back.

I called Precision on Friday at 1:30pm because I needed same day service and I was drawn to Precision’s advertising promising same day service. Unfortunately, they could not get me in on Friday and I was scheduled for Saturday between 4pm and 6pm. My garage had to remain open all night which made me nervous. Stu contacted me on Saturday at roughly 3pm telling me he would be there at 4pm. When I arrived, he was there and he already had three repair options to show me on his IPAD. The prices for all three options were much higher than I expected however, based on Stu’s recommendation, I chose the “Best” option. Stu was knowledgeable, polite and efficient. He completed the job by 5:15pm. He explained the lifetime warranty to me and based on the system he installed, I am confident that I will not be having any garage door issues for a long time. The overall service/experience with Precision was very good and I would recommend Precision to a friend.

I was pleased with the service and the promptness. However, the follow up has downright been awful. The installer said he would email me a receipt. I verified my email address. The repair was done a week ago. I got an email from Brian, the owner, the next day, asking how things went, and asking me to write a good review. After attempting to email him, based on the email address his email came from, and getting a delivery failure, I called. I was told I couldn't have his email address, but "Andrew" would have the billing department send me the receipt. I still do not have a receipt for the repair done on 3/5 and it is 3/12.

Our system sends out our invoices as an attachment in which some emails do not accept them from a website they are not familiar with. I was happy that we were able to use one of your alternative emails that accepted our attachment. Garage door was making a "slam" noise each time opened or closed. Stu came and in 5 minutes saw the problem and had it fixed in another 15 minutes. While I found the employee very knowledgeable, polite and friendly, the quote was not. Sticker shock to say the least. I got second opinion and quote and went with them. Work completed next day and for less than half the price. Sorry!

Very efficient service. I called Thursday night and had an appointment for Friday afternoon. The service man was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job and was efficient himself. My only complaint is that there is a $70 trip charge in addition to labor and parts. I feel if you choose to have the work done, the trip charge should be waived. Otherwise, my small 30 minute job still cost over $200. The part was $80 or $90, The rest labor and trip charge.

We had a garage door repair - $934.00 According to Stu's appraisal of the situation, it sounded like the logical route to go. The spring was broken and the cable was off the spool. There was also wear in a couple of other areas. We hope this will be the last time we have to do anything to the garage door. Stu was very knowledgable, informative, and friendly. He didn't seem like he was just trying to get us to spend money, but in the long run that we were doing the right thing. Your motto " We fix garage doors right " made sense. We didn't check around with the competition but you had done work for us before. You had the parts to get the job done right then and there. I felt confident that Stu would do a good job and that your company would stand behind it. I hope my comments are helpful. We contacted Precision Door Service for help with our overhead garage door opener. Our technician was Stu and he was GREAT! Called for warranty service and they wanted to charge me over $400. They told me o ly natural use is covered. Not sure how we could have unnatural use. Then they told me items rusted due to sitting in water. The door and all parts are above ground, and no pooling or standing water is around the area. Concrete garage slab and concrete drive are pitched away from the garage. Warranty is useless. They don't stand behind their lifetime warranty.
