I just wanted to say thanks to Precision Door Service and the service tech Kurt who came out and replaced the broken springs on our garage door. Not only did he replace the broken springs on the door but he also cleaned up some existing wiring and made some additional adjustments to the existing door opener to make sure that the door operates smoothly. They were even able to come out the same day I called which was extremely appreciative. I would highly recommend Precision Door Service. Thanks again!

Sorry to say that the service I received was far below my expectations. Tech person was not sure what was wrong and after some thought figured that the existing springs (unbroken) we too weak to lift the door. The door did not go down either. So I let him change out the springs to at the cost of just below $600. We tried the door it operated well. Not the end of the story. Just a few minutes later I moved my vehicle back into the open garage and the door would not go down at all. Just a dull grinding noise. The installer could not be even a mile away so I called. Got another appointment for4 days later. Today he came back ready to sell me an expensive door motor but had no explanation of why it was needed now with the new springs. His prices would have been between $1100 and $800 dollars! No discount for making up for the springs I maybe did not need. I did check the cost of opener motors in the days since his last stop. Found name brand motors (with more HP) for between $250 and $350. Did not look too difficult on UTube to install. So I message is...catchy and frequent advertising but just unable to deliver all that was promised. I will use these exact words in every future conversation I might have with others so they take their business elsewhere. If you have found this review on line, heed my warning and go elsewhere.

I called Precision Garage Door this afternoon when my garage door would not open. I was fortunate enough to have your service technician Matthew Berends arrive to do the repairs. He explained exactly what should be done and offered several options for repair work explaining each option in detail. I hope you realize what a good representative for Precision Door you have in him. Because of Matthew I will strongly recommend Precision Door to anyone that needs service. PS more products than just rollers purchased but your system only lets me pick one.

Discovered the broken spring this morning and called at 9:06 am. Received a call back from Derrick, the technician, at 9:21 am, and the door was repaired and up an running by 10:30 am. Derrick was extremely courteous and thorough on explaining the issue and repair options.

5 stars! Mike came out to check the opener as l was having problems with it at one time. Of course it didn't act up for the service tech. He did a few little adjustments and told me if it started again, to call. He explained the bill to me and about the charge being taken off if l called again within 30 days.
