Fast and great service.

I wish I could give a better review. We had 2 garage doors installed back in 2023, and the sale and installation process was great. The time it took to get the doors and then get the appointment to get them installed took a while, but given they are custom doors, that can be expected. The sales guy was great, they were not the cheapest, but I was most confident with them based on the company and the sales. The install team was great. They were polite, they were thorough, and they cleaned up after themselves. Where things fall apart is this year we had an issue where the door apparently did not open all the way, and my wife backed into it and did some damage to the door. Our fault, not blaming Precision for that. Called the next day, and they sent a guy out to do a walk through and provide an estimate to repair. He said that since we just got the doors done everything should be in the system so no measurements should be needed. He said he would write it up and send the estimate later that day. That day came and went, no estimate. The next day, no estimate. So I called Precision. The nice young lady that answered was very friendly and polite, she forwarded me to another person....got their voicemail - left my info. Nothing, no call back. So the next day I called again, same nice young lady said I had to talk to the person she had directed me to earlier, but they were "On the other line". She said she would personally tell her to call me. NOTHING. So I had to call again the next day, finally got to talk to the person I was supposed to talk to, and they said the estimate had not been put in the system. So I had to go over all the info with her on the phone, she looked up our original order, so she had the measurements. She said she would write it up and send me an estimate "Shortly". End of day, still nothing. Called back (By this time the young lady that answers the phones knew my voice, and she was sooo apologetic), the estimate person had left for the day - This was a Friday, so now no estimate until at least Monday. Monday comes, no estimate. Called toward the end of the day, estimate person said "Oh so sorry, I will put it together and send it to you", nothing came. So now I have to call again the next day, they finally sent me the estimate - we have now lost almost a week just to get an estimate, and meanwhile I can't use my garage door! So I call them to accept the estimate and give my credit card info over the phone.....the person who processes cards, is unavailable, they will call me back ----yep, you guessed it, no call back. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A HARD TIME GIVING SOMEONE MONEY!!!! I called back the next day, and the young lady that answers the phone again was so pleasant, but you could hear how uncomfortable she was when she heard that no one had called me back again. She was so apologetic, and she took my card info to get the process going even though she is not authorized to process payments. Finally, someone called me back to process the payment and get the order under way. I wish this was the end of their terrible customer communication, however, it is not. They said that it would take a couple of weeks for the door panels to come in, they would have to inspect and they would call me and they gave me a target date that they would call me by. NOTHING AGAIN. Target date came and went. I waited a week, so I called. The door had come in, but they didn't call me, so now I have lost another week to get my door installed. 2-3 more weeks get the install done. The replacement guys were slated to come today, so I thought I might get a confirmation call last night....nope. However, this morning I did get a call from Sean (Shawn) indicating they were on their way to install the replacement pieces. Sean and his colleague were great. Professional, courteous, and they left no trace that they had been there. Not sure what is going on in the WI office, but they need to get their act together. If they didn't already have my door measurements in their system, I would have given serious consideration to going with another company.

He arrived right on time, listened carefully to my concerns and understanding of the situation with our garage door, asked intelligent questions to learn more, and then quickly set about evaluating what was happening. He then took care of everything and then explained what he had done, what I needed to do over time to maintain excellent performance of the garage door, and then when to contact Precision Overhead Garage Door for another visit. All in all, an excellent job!!

He diagnosed the problem, explained what was needed, and got to work to resolve the issue. Matthew was extremely efficient in correcting the problem and also was very professional and friendly. Garage door was making a "slam" noise each time opened or closed. Stu came and in 5 minutes saw the problem and had it fixed in another 15 minutes.
