We had what turned out to be a broken door spring. We contacted Precision Overhead Door and are we ever glad we did, Our tech showed up before the scheduled time and took the time to show me the problems with our aging door system. No typical sales pressure gave me the time to decide on which opener to get. We decided and he copleted the work and walked us through the functions of the new system. What a upgrade. The only trouble is now I have to clean the garage our Tech was fantastic Highly recommend these people

This is the second time I have used Precision garage door to fix my garage door opener. The last was 12 to 13 years ago. This time I had a spring replaced and I had to have the attachment of the garage door opener to the garage door reengineered in the test it was coming loose. In both cases Doing the work was very professional and polite. Before starting this time even explained a little bit of what could be wrong after I showed him the bracket. He then examined everything came in and told me what was wrong and gave me the price differences if I wanted to replace the opener motor itself. The motor do not need to be replaced but was very old. I decided not to replace the motor but just put a new spring in and create a new bracket to attach the garage door opener to the garage door. He did a very professional job. He did not persistently suggest changing the garage door motor. He just explained it might be a good idea. I’m very satisfied with the two times I’ve used their service.

Good quick service. Do believe $850 to replace a broken spring is a bit crazy since it only took 45 minutes to do which after part price is over $600 an hour but oh well.

Kurt Schneider was an excellent repair person and educator both -- he'll fix the problem you have but by the time he leaves you'll know more about your garage system as a whole and be better able to manage your setup.

I am extremally satisfied with your technician Pedro Vazquez. He did an outstanding job. He informed me what was wrong. gave me options to consider and price, and then repaired the spring assembly. He was considerate, professional and thorough. He checked the complete door, brackets, cables, opener and spring assembly, and then made all the necessary adjustments. He then informed me how to maintain it and suggested a few things I could do to improve on it. You are very fortunate to have a technician as qualified and knowable as Pedro. I work at an airport and needed weekend repair of a broken door cable to continue our operations. Waited for a day for the technician to come out which I suppose is reasonable for a weekend. When the technician showed up he was very friendly and professional but stated that it was a commercial door that he couldn't work on. I was very clear about the style and type of door with the person that took the original call and find the outcome very unacceptable. Hopefully this review will possibly help the next person with the same situation.

This is the second time we've had Precision Door Service work on our, at least 24-year-old, door and they are awesome. First, they replaced the bottom seal and it fits and works perfectly. This time we needed to replace the rollers, springs, and bearings. Even though they recommended some other work, Kurt Schneider, explained it all and totally understood us just wanting to start with this work first. He completed the work so quickly and expertly and didn't mind me watching to see how it is all done. Thanks for your great work and we've already recommended you to others.

This is a revised comment of garage door. After one and one half year of service the door makes snapping noises when raising and lowering. Have also found hinge screws on garage floor. There appears to be several loose screws. Previous garage door did not have this issue after 15 years. I would hesitate recommending this company’s product. Gene Moran

We recently had service work done on our garage. We were extremely impressed with level of customer service with the receptionist. They were able to come out the next day on labor day within the timeframe explained to us. Joe and Pedro did exceptional work and went into detail pertaining to all of our options. Very honest approach and did a wonderful job in fixing our garage. They also went above and beyond and sent a follow up text to outline maintenance. I would highly recommend them.

Our garage door broke yesterday, wouldn't open. We called Precision who came this morning and fixed it. We had Precision fix our door 3 1/2 years ago when rollers and track had to be replaced. Jacob Lewandowski was the technician and was so helpful explaining what needed to be repaired. Only took 1 1/2 hrs and our door is quieter than it has ever been in the 6 1/2 years we've lived here.
