We were very happy with our service appt. Pedro did a thorough job. He was very professional and explained the options to repair our garage door. We were impressed that you offer weekend appts--which won you the business. We called the initial installer on Friday evening--and they called us back Monday morning. We called Precision on Saturday and were offered a Sunday appt.

I gave them 5 stars just after the the tech left because it seemed to be working. He switched the sensors from side to side, that didn't work so he ran one new wire and it worked but by that time the sun was alittle higher and hit the door at a different angle and thats why it was working. To the tecks credit he said it was a possibility that the sensor was bad. He also changed out the roller bearings on both doors at in my opion a very high price. I should have asked the price before I had him do it, that is my fault. it turns out the next day when the sun light hit the door didn't work so I called precision and told them the operator didn't offer to send someone out at no charge (other than parts) to fix the problem so I went to HD, got the sensors for $35 (not the $250 he estimated) used the old wiring and it's been working ever since. I'm giving them a 3 star because of the teck not the pricing.

Called at 9am. They came at 12:30pm. Done by 2pm. Fixed my springs and bearings. Good as new and for a fair price for what they did and replaced. Ya dont see quick, honest, satisfactory work like this much these days. Im super pleased.

Our garage door died on the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving. We called on Monday morning and the repair was done before noon. Joe, the technician called to say he would arrive in 20 minutes. He arrived just as he said he would. He quickly diagnosed the situation and we were back in business before noon. We couldn't be happier. Should we need garage door repair in the future, We'll call Precision first.

The man who installed the garage door opener was very polite and efficient. There were only two prices of openers within $75 of each other at the high end range near $900. When I spoke to the manager about the price, he said he had made a mistake and gave me a $100 discount. A different company had the same opener for $650. Do your research before getting work done.

My torsion spring had broken, I obtained, installed, and tensioned the spring, only to find that the door froze at about 1-2 feet off the ground. Intrepid DIYer that I am, I concluded that the door was misaligned and I set about to adjust the cable drums on either side of the spring. It was when I went at the second drum that all the tension in the spring was unleashed, sending the 7/16 wrench that had been in my hand whistling past my ear and landing at the other side of the garage. That's when called Precision, mid-evening on a Tuesday night. Nicka arrived at a little past noon on Wednesday, quickly identified and fixed the problem (the cable ferrule was flipped-out and thus bound against the brace), tuned-up both doors, and charged me just $130 for the work. It was a humbling experience for me, but one that I went through, if only as a reminder of my new favorite adage/solution to household repairs: Pay The Man!

My experience with Precision Door Service so far has been very good. The technician, Jezrel, was very professional and knowledgeable about my garage doors. He seemed genuinely concerned and took the time to explain and ensured I understood the status of my garage door. I have yet to replace it but when I do I will definitely use Precision Door Service.
