Precision Garage Door Service did an excellent job getting our garage door back in great condition. Getting the text reminder of the service was very helpful and I specially appreciated when the service guy was on his way out that they sent a picture and his name. Our repair guy, Joseph was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Besides replacing the obviously broken spring he checked other parts and found that a cable needed to be replaced that was quite badly frayed and would not have lasted much longer. He had everything in his well stocked truck to make the job quick. He completed the repair in less than 40 minutes, finishing off with a quick lube of everything.

Technicians are nice and capable, but products and warranty are garbage. Precision installed (among other things) a new exterior keypad in March. In December (9 months later) it froze shut so completely that it ripped off the frame when we tried to open it, destroying the keypad exterior and internal circuit board. We have lived in Wisconsin our entire lives and have never had a keypad do that, and our technician said he had never seen it. Nonetheless, despite being within the one year warranty period we were told we had to pay full price because it was caused by "an act of nature" (as opposed to the low quality materials it is made with). And had to pay for the service call. Total rip off and will not use again.

We turned our garage door care over to Precision in 2015 and have called on them every year since for maintenance as may be necessary and annual inspection/prevention care. We can't say enough good things about this company, its ownership, an their technicians; the office staff who handle our calls, do the scheduling, and answer our questions are also "top-notch"! Service providers arrive when they say they will; get right to work, explain everything, and are always open to questions. Our experience with Precision was excellent and then some. Our spring broke, so we couldn't open the garage door. Made the call and the next morning, their technician was there to make the repair. Kurt (the tech) was extremely friendly and walked me through all the different repair options available. No pressure, just good info. Made all the repairs, inspected the other components and even showed me some features our garage door opener had that we didn't realize! Everything was fixed and good as new within 45 minutes. Extremely happy with the service Kurt gave us.

Before he arrived, Technician Joseph Gaona had done some preliminary work to read through what he had done during visits in previous years so that he was aware of potential issues. He was very thorough about checking on the status of the battery problem on the control as well as in the physical opener. He asked if previous repairs had resolved the issues. He replaced the battery quickly and efficiently, asked if I had any 60 W bulbs and if I wanted him to replace them while he had the opener open. It felt like we were well taken care of by his service.

We were a no show at the specified time given to us. I called and was told we were put on a later alternate list. Unfortunately no one notified us and I wasted a day waiting. Poor office help might be suspected, but that's you're fault Brian ultimately. When we finally got our service done, Joe the technician was proficient and concise. Kudus there. Pricing is also an issue, checking later I feel that it was grossly unfair. I'm not happy and have good reason. My time is valuable too, but no one seemed to care...........
