Jezrel definitely seems to know what he is doing. He is a very nice person as well. To start, a small cable on the side of the garage door had rusted through and the garage door was not closing. They have a trip charge to come look at it for $69. I have had the garage door for over 12 years and it was installed in the house long before that. I know the cost of the cable is very minimal, but like a lot of things, repairs need to be done. In order to do this the springs have to be unwound and both cables on each side have to be replaced along with some rusted hinges. As the springs were at least 12 years old they are also likely to break. To do the cable work with the trip charge, it was going to be about $350, but if the springs broke later it will cost me another $300 or so. So I asked him what's the most I could spend? Their "package" is $799 to fix everything and you get a Lifetime Warranty. I decided to just do it all now and I should be good for quite a while. It took about 1.5 hours and the door looks and works very nice. While I didn't want to spend that much, again it's a necessity. Got to be able to open the garage door. It used to have some gaps but alot of that has been squared away and it is working great.

Dan arrived within the time frame specified. I told him about the problems I was having with the old garage door opener and he explained the differences between the various models available and I decided to go with the belt drive unit. I pointed out a problem with a cable that was installed 3 years ago and he replaced it at no charge, because it fell under the lifetime warranty package I opted for when we had the spring and cables replaced. After Dan installed the new opener he programmed all of the openers and went over the new unit with me. He cleaned up and hauled the old unit away. I am completely satisfied with the job he did and I highly recommend Precision Door to anyone needing repair work, garage door installation, or an opener installed.

He has been to my home twice in the last 6 months to (1) install a new LiftMaster opener and (2) to repair a broken spring on my garage door.
