I was hoping that the work needed would be a minor adjustment to my garage door system after having work done in my garage the previous day. Unfortunately, the system needed a LOT of work as it hadn't been well maintained by the previous home owners, but Dan did a great job of thoroughly reviewing everything and showing me exactly where there were problems with cables, brackets, rollers, etc. While I wasn't thrilled with having to have so much work done, I was very pleased with the end result. The overall garage door system is now working incredibly smoothly and quietly and I won't have to worry about it breaking down at some inconvenient time!

I initially called Jim's Garage Door Service (who I've used in the past) and scheduled an appointment. The Tech didn't call or show up on the scheduled day/time. I emailed Jim's Garage Door Service and got an automated response. "Thanks for contacting us we'll contact you soon.", but they didn't. So I searched for another service in the Racine area. Precision has a lot of nice reviews, so I called and a Tech arrived, as scheduled; the next day. Kahala and his assistant did a great job. I removed and tossed the Jim's Garage Door sticker that was on my door; don't need it, I'll call Precision in the future.

I googled garage door repair in Milwaukee. Looked through the list and read through Precision Door Service. Located within 5 miles of my home, watched the YouTube video and liked what I saw. Called for estimate on a broken spring. Technician came out between 2-4 pm. Dan & Tony showed up at 2:15-2:30 p.m. Dan assessed my problem and gave me direction. Part was not a standard part that they stock on the truck. The part had to be ordered and they installed it on Aug.5th. I was pleased, satisfied & comfortable with my technician. We called for a spring repair at 4 pm. They were able to work around our schedule and come the next day at 4 pm. They were here on time and very professional. We have two big dogs which didn't phase them one bit. They ended up replacing both springs and provided us with information on other issues we may see in the next couple of years. They were bit pushy at all and got the job done quickly!! We would definitely recommend them and will use them again!!!!

We had several other garage door repairs in the past by different companies. We were never satisfied with the job that they did which is why when we had to have our garage door serviced again we called Precision. Our technician, Dan, walked us through the repair process detailing what was wrong and what our options were to fix it. Jezrel and his assistant Nick were very professional in inspecting the door system. They did a timely and efficient job of replacing all the components including cables, springs, bearings, wheel runners, coils and brackets.

The technicians were excellent - very knowledgable, friendly, polite & timely. They called before arriving and got the job done in good time. Very pleased with my experience. I was a bit startled by the cost, though. I wish the customer service folks had mentioned how much it would cost for the counter balance reset of the springs (an unexpected $150 added to my bill at the end - ouch - just to reset the springs we already have, no new springs included in the purchase cost). I don't know much about garage doors, but it seems to me that this should have obviously been included in a rough, verbal estimate over the phone and it wasn't. It nearly doubled the amount I was expecting to pay. So, just beware of this added cost. Looking at other company estimates to reset springs, this is definitely on the higher end of what I'm finding.

Julie, often times it is hard to determine the work involved over the phone with cable issues. That is why, once we have done our inspection and recommendations, you are in complete control of whether you would like to move forward with the repair or not based on the costs.
