Daniel was courteous and professional when he came out to install new springs in our garage door. He walked me through the inspection he was doing and explained to me the wear points and options available for replacing parts. When complete he showed me the removed worn parts next to the new parts so that I could see why they were ready to be replaced.

Rick Bourget called ahead of appointment time period to identify ETA which was helpful. He diagnosed the situation with the bottom seal, replaced it and at my request also did a check-up on system since it was some time from last work. He identified status of gear and sprocket chain drive and showed me the shavings and sprocket wear. They were replaced and drive was adjusted to be in balance on closing. He also checked the door closer and light. He was thorough and worked with efficiency in his work. These systems are pretty complex when you see them opened up. Staff has to know a lot about them. Also find that should have periodic check ups and keep lubricating the bearings etc. with synthetic spray - not oil.

Technician Rick was right on time and efficiently corrected a situation in which the wall anchor bracket for the operating track pulled away from the wall, and adjusted spring tension, a process that can be hazardous for those who might try to Do-It-Yourself. Reasonable charge. Great company and I'll call them again if need be.

We had a garage door repair - $934.00 According to Stu's appraisal of the situation, it sounded like the logical route to go. The spring was broken and the cable was off the spool. There was also wear in a couple of other areas. We hope this will be the last time we have to do anything to the garage door. Stu was very knowledgable, informative, and friendly. He didn't seem like he was just trying to get us to spend money, but in the long run that we were doing the right thing. Your motto " We fix garage doors right " made sense. We didn't check around with the competition but you had done work for us before. You had the parts to get the job done right then and there. I felt confident that Stu would do a good job and that your company would stand behind it. I hope my comments are helpful. Precision Door showed up on time, their service person was top notch and explain what he was going to work on and why. Called to find out what the cost to replace springs would be, as I was checking around. I was told $69.95 for service call and $179 for spring, I said back to girl on phone "so $70 & $180 and she said yes". Was surprised when it came to $442.95. I should of been told $69.95 plus $179 for each spring and $15 for enviro surcharge for $442.95 Needless to say I will not use them again.

I would like to commend Precision for not only being very professional but also very honest and trustworthy! I called to have a new garage door opener installed and when the technician got there he evaluated the current one and said the one I have is fine. He reset the latch cleaned and did some maintenance (lube/oil/etc). I am a 77 year old and while he could have easily sold me a new garage he did the right thing saving me over $300!!! Thank you being a customer first over profit company. When I do need a new garage door opener you will be the only call I make. Thank you.

Extremely pleased! Technician, Rick Bourget was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Within an hour, he had my non-working door opener disassembled, replaced the worn-out parts, and reassembled. His safety inspection resulted in the recommendation to replace my worn door rollers which were creating "drag". My old bearing type rollers were replaced with new nylon rollers. Now my door "glides" in the track, and moves much more smoothly and much quieter. My opener and door are working just like new! Thank you Rick, for a job well done!
