I had minor issue with garage door, with occasionally stop while coming down . Person from precision came and thought that may garage door rollers were wearing down, so he changed the rollers and charged me $190 for those. So when I asked him why they are so expensive? He mentioned that they are good quality and life long warranty. Later on when I checked at Amazon, cost of the rollers were only $20 dollars ! Such a rip off

We are extremely pleased with the work provided by Precision and Matt, their field service technician. Matt explained the issues with our problematic garage door opener. He reassured us that the 25 year old door open could be repaired. However, we elected to have a new one installed. We couldn’t be more pleased with this company and their professional, knowledgeable technician, Matt. We will recommend Precision to our friends and neighbors.

I have used Precision Door at the property I manage in Germantown, the Gables. So when my cable broke on our garage door I knew exactly who to call. My cable broke on a vacation day! Yup, stuck in the garage late afternoon. I found Precision Door Service by Googling garage door repairs. I was hesitant when I called and the person I talked with was in a different city. She was nice, professional and assured me they could have someone there within 2 hours. I took the gamble and was VERY GLAD I did! The guy who repaired my cables/door was professional, polite, nice, and very efficient. He took the time to explain what had happened and what will likely happen in the future. I have only GREAT things to say and will use them again when needed.

in the past week, my garage door opened twice - the first time I was at home, the second time I came home to find it open. The service guy Alex (very nice guy) said he felt that replacing the "mother board" would correct the problem. I have still been un-plugging it at night, but so far the couple I have left the house and came back the door was still closed. Hope the problem is corrected, I guess time will tell.

When I called for the repair service, had difficulty with the ability to hear the call taker and I was not fully certain if my needs were met. Garage door was making a "slam" noise each time opened or closed. Stu came and in 5 minutes saw the problem and had it fixed in another 15 minutes. I liked the website when I was taken to it after searching for "overhead garage door" - or something like that. And there was the telephone number so I could call. Easy. I have wasted much time trying to find a telephone number on other websites. When I called it was easy to get an appointment without endless quests for more information about me. And the repair person who came was friendly, polite, and competent. I have accepted his advice.

Precision Door Service is a SCAM. I called and scheduled a service for a broken cable and was quoted on the phone a price of $90-$120 + a unheard of surcharge of an additional $15. Service tech arrived and told me that I now would need Bottom Brackets at $70.00 a pair ( You can buy them at Menards for $10.00 a pair) and I would also be charged $150.00 to have the springs retention. Service Tech now estimated the job would cost in total about $450.00, almost four times what I was originally quoted! I told the Technician to leave because I wasn't going to pay that much for a simple repair. On a side note I was able to secure a different provider to replace both cables, bottom brackets with new nylon rollers, retention the main springs and completely lubricate the rollers, hinges, bearings and even the overhead door opener for $150.00!!!

The team at Precision was responsive, attentive and professional from start to finish. We enjoyed working with Alex, our installer. He had a great sense of humor, spent time to ensure the job was done to our satisfaction and was a delight. He was great with out dogs and helped us understand our new opener, remotes, keypad, and the cool new wireless features of the opener too. I hope to NEVER have to see anyone from Precision again (because of the new everything), but I won't hesitate to recommend them to neighbors and friends.
