The technician gave me an estimate and charged me a fee for a replacement part and the service call and told me it would take a few days to get the part. A few days later he called and said he is unable to perform the repair because I purchased the garage door opener from Home Depot and said I will need to do the repair myself! WTF!! If

Stu Ellenberger was the technician that helped with our garage door problem. He knew right away what the problem was and told me how to prevent the problem from happening in the future. He also gave me a free can of lubricant for the springs and hinges. I was very pleased with the prompt service helpful advice.

Looked in phone book under garage doors. Looked for someone who serviced Raynor doors and within 24 hours time frame to come was a plus. The garage door wouldn't shut all the way. Dan was very knowledgeable and thorough besides being friendly. He was impressed by our old 1/3 hp Raynor opener- over 30 years old and no problems except not able to sync with newer vehicles. Raynor door 25 years old had a cracked frame on the top middle. So Dan wrote an estimate for new door and opener. Can't wait to have a new unfaded brown garage door and a quieter opener. Also looking forward to syncing the van to opener. So glad I called Precision!

Prompt service by a very professional service man. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and clearly outlined the options of the extent of repairs needed and some upgrades I might want to choose. My garage door wouldn’t go down. I called Precision at 3:30 and Dan, the service man, was at my house at 5:00. He explained that I needed springs, told me the prices and proceeded to put the springs in. He was respectful, kind and very knowledgeable. If I need to call for service for my garage door in the future, I will call Precision, because I trust them.

This is one GREAT company. We decided TODAY to replace our garage door opener. I called Precision Door Service of Madison WI. Appointment was scheduled for the same day. Technician Kurt Schneider called and then arrived exactly on time. He was very friendly and explained our options. He had everything he needed on the truck (how rare is that?) An hour and a half later Kurt was finished and explained how everything worked to us. Kurt and Precision Door Service deserve the 5 star rating!

After coming and going a couple of times that day, I suddenly found I couldn’t get the garage door to go down! It was an extremely cold day. I had heard of them before and discovered their ad in the phone book. Derrick arrived and assessed the situation. He explained what my future needs would be based on age of the opener. The rollers were replaced and it worked! He advised me what to look for if it happened again. He provided information I needed with regards to replacing the motor, at my request, for future planning. He wore his mask, was polite and helpful.

Tech Jake came to our house this morning for some warranty work on job done in 2018. Noticed “environmental charge” of $15 on bill. He only replaced some brackets which would fit in ones hand. Why was I charged this??
