Garage door opener had broken clamp & flipper. Unit is original unit, so its over 20 years old. After technician Matt explained my options, warranties, I decided to have him replace unit vs wait to order a new part. Opener works beautifully, quiet, new remotes & keypad. Matt was SO polite and professional! Never pushed me to replace unit, just explained my choices.

I was able to get a same day appointment for my garage door that stopped working. The repair man was prompt and clearly explained to me what the issue was. Broken torsion spring on 18-year-old door. Pros: Precision clearly stated prices over the phone, came the next day and performed repairs in less than an hour at the quoted price. Cons: As other reviewers have stated, there is significant effort to upsell, and the pitch has a high BS quotient. As a degreed engineer with decades of machine design experience, I had no trouble sorting the necessary repairs and quality parts from the less necessary and high profit margin add-ons.

Fantastic service, Steve the technician was great! My keypad garage entry stopped working and I needed it repaired quickly. I contacted Precision and it was truly a great experience. They scheduled my appointment immediately (no voicemails, call-backs, etc.) and were able to get me on the schedule within 48 hours. My technician showed up on time and he was great. He fixed my problem quickly, provided explanations and answered all my questions. Our garage doors are more than 25 years old and we've been thinking about replacing them, Steve explained options for rebuliding and full replacement .... really helpful information. I certainly plan to go back to Precision for my future needs.

I called Precision on Friday at 1:30pm because I needed same day service and I was drawn to Precision’s advertising promising same day service. Unfortunately, they could not get me in on Friday and I was scheduled for Saturday between 4pm and 6pm. My garage had to remain open all night which made me nervous. Stu contacted me on Saturday at roughly 3pm telling me he would be there at 4pm. When I arrived, he was there and he already had three repair options to show me on his IPAD. The prices for all three options were much higher than I expected however, based on Stu’s recommendation, I chose the “Best” option. Stu was knowledgeable, polite and efficient. He completed the job by 5:15pm. He explained the lifetime warranty to me and based on the system he installed, I am confident that I will not be having any garage door issues for a long time. The overall service/experience with Precision was very good and I would recommend Precision to a friend.

The spring broke on our garage door. I placed a call and they sent someone out same day and repaired it within a half hour of arriving. When we had the springs, rollers & cables replaced 7 years ago, we purchased a liftetime warranty but didn't have it on file. The tecnician checked in their system and informed us that we would be covered under our lifetime warrantee plan. I'm very pleased with their customer service: professional, competent, friendly!
