I called Precision to come look at my garage door as it was stopping at the wrong points during its open/close cycle, and there were some odd things going on with the electronics. The tech, Mike Gonyo, figured out the issues and explained what the different remedy options were without trying to pressure me into one option over another. I ended up deciding to just replace the opener, and get a few key repairs done on door bearings. I've done remodeling/construction work in the past. I could tell by reviewing Mikes work, and how he described things, the he is extremely competent. As far as I could tell, he did both the repairs and the install to a very high level of quality. He was also very good at explaining what he did, what to look out for in the future, and gave some very good maintenance tips. I chose Precision based on a coworker's recommendation, and based on my experience, I will absolutely recommend them to others in turn.

Broken Spring service was very prompt and the work appears to be well-done. Serviceman explained the problems and solutions clearly. I took one star off for cost. Seemed a little high, and serviceman up-sold some additional part replacements. But I think they were necessary. And when you need something done fast, cost is not likely to be low. If the repairs hold up and the work is good, I definitely would use Precision again.

First off, your email to us with photos of the person coming out was awesome. I wasn't home but my wife and son tell me the technician was very helpful, checked all three doors, advised on why our light bulbs were burning out so quickly on the door openers and just went through everything to insure all was working. I thought it was going to cost more than it did which is very impressive. So in a nutshell, value from price standpoint, service was superb and your company appears to be far more professional than any other I have dealt with and I am referring to all kinds of service businesses. So thank you very much for helping us and I wish you success because no doubt you will have it. As to a rating absolutely a 5 but I would say a 10!

Hi, Appointment was set up quickly. Service rep explained all my options so I could make the best choice for repair. Door needed a total overhaul. I live in a condo and the association thought the price was a little steep and suggested another quote.He tried to get the service chg waived but no one available to approve. However, I liked the rep so I went ahead with the work.

I had the electronic eyes on my single door replaced. The techs did a great job. However, after the work they only checked the operation on the door they worked on. If they had checked the operation of the double door they would have seen it did not work. The electric eye next to the door they worked on was knocked out of alignment thus the door would not close. I have played with that eye several times and have it working, but it is still giving me trouble. I have never had problem with the eyes on the double door until now. (That door was installed 16 years ago.)
