We chose Precision from their ad in the telephone book. We called on a Saturday morning at 7 a.m. They gave us an appointment time of 10 a.m. - noon, and were there at 9:30 a.m. Service was efficient, the technician was thorough, and we would use Precision again.

The spring broke on my garage door after 50 yrs and Precision had a full page add in the Sun Prairie phone book that said they repaired or installed a new one - so I called, they came to look at it the same day and told me it would cost 1/2 as much to fix as to buy a new one - and probably couldn't get the same rollers - too old. So Mike Z gave me an estimate and rather then get more estimates and wait longer just called the next day and ordered a new one. Steve installed in 4 hours and told me how to oil it and it looks great and is much quieter then the old one. It was time.

I needed assistance for my elderly mother's garage door. Precision was able to come out the same day I called. The problem was more complicated and involved than I had figured. Precision indicated what else needed to be done and explained the costs and even pointed out alternatives (whole new door) which would be about the same price. Excellent work and pleasant to work with. Even though came late in the day (the time agreed to) they finished the job. Would gladly recommend to others.

Broken spring. Stu was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He also replaced all of our rollers as well as cables on one door after we looked at everything. He also waived the service charge after arriving late, which we appreciated. As a result, we will consider using Precision again.

I thought your tech, Bakari was a very nice and professional technician. I do have some concerns on your prices. He replaced the cables and reset the tensions. A job that took him less than 30 minutes to complete. I am guessing you have standard labor pricing per task that the $ 90.00 you charged was the cost whether it took him 30 minutes or 60 minutes. Also the cost of the cable was too high I thought. I understand you technically delivered the parts to me with the service and I understand about mark ups, after all you and I are in a similar business with field techs and customer service but again, the parts costs seemed a little high to me. Maybe it was your tech who is that good that he was able to perform this job in a short amount of time. I think you are lucky to have him. He is very professional and explained to me the workings of the door and how important proper maintenance is to prevent things breaking. I am very satisfied with Precision and Bakari. In the future, if I have any needs, I would like to request it is him that takes care of me. Thanks for your time.
