We had several other garage door repairs in the past by different companies. We were never satisfied with the job that they did which is why when we had to have our garage door serviced again we called Precision. Our technician, Dan, walked us through the repair process detailing what was wrong and what our options were to fix it. He performed the work and gave us valuable pointers on how to keep our garage door in top working order. Should we have another issue with our garage door you can bet that we will call Precision again!

Jezrel and his assistant Nick were very professional in inspecting the door system. They did a timely and efficient job of replacing all the components including cables, springs, bearings, wheel runners, coils and brackets.

The technicians were excellent - very knowledgable, friendly, polite & timely. They called before arriving and got the job done in good time. Very pleased with my experience. I was a bit startled by the cost, though. I wish the customer service folks had mentioned how much it would cost for the counter balance reset of the springs (an unexpected $150 added to my bill at the end - ouch - just to reset the springs we already have, no new springs included in the purchase cost). I don't know much about garage doors, but it seems to me that this should have obviously been included in a rough, verbal estimate over the phone and it wasn't. It nearly doubled the amount I was expecting to pay. So, just beware of this added cost. Looking at other company estimates to reset springs, this is definitely on the higher end of what I'm finding.

Your service technician (Jezrel White) was very thorough in fixing my garage door. He pointed out the worn and rusted hardware, and I agreed that those parts should be replaced. Jezrel definitely seems to know what he is doing. He is a very nice person as well. To start, a small cable on the side of the garage door had rusted through and the garage door was not closing. They have a trip charge to come look at it for $69. I have had the garage door for over 12 years and it was installed in the house long before that. I know the cost of the cable is very minimal, but like a lot of things, repairs need to be done. In order to do this the springs have to be unwound and both cables on each side have to be replaced along with some rusted hinges. As the springs were at least 12 years old they are also likely to break. To do the cable work with the trip charge, it was going to be about $350, but if the springs broke later it will cost me another $300 or so. So I asked him what's the most I could spend? Their "package" is $799 to fix everything and you get a Lifetime Warranty. I decided to just do it all now and I should be good for quite a while. It took about 1.5 hours and the door looks and works very nice. While I didn't want to spend that much, again it's a necessity. Got to be able to open the garage door. It used to have some gaps but alot of that has been squared away and it is working great.

Dan arrived within the time frame specified. I told him about the problems I was having with the old garage door opener and he explained the differences between the various models available and I decided to go with the belt drive unit. I pointed out a problem with a cable that was installed 3 years ago and he replaced it at no charge, because it fell under the lifetime warranty package I opted for when we had the spring and cables replaced. After Dan installed the new opener he programmed all of the openers and went over the new unit with me. He cleaned up and hauled the old unit away. I am completely satisfied with the job he did and I highly recommend Precision Door to anyone needing repair work, garage door installation, or an opener installed.

I wish to praise a worker of yours by the name of Mr. Jezrel White, who works out of the Madison, WI area. He has been to my home twice in the last 6 months to (1) install a new LiftMaster opener and (2) to repair a broken spring on my garage door. This gentleman is a hard worker, so very polite, courteous and respectful! I cannot say enough good things about this young gentleman, except that this company is so very fortunate to have him on the payroll!
