Our repair technician Jim Twombly is honest, courteous, and technically proficient in his craft. He pointed out exactly what needed repair, and the options that were available to us in order to get the job done. We opted for the Torsion Overhaul because in addition to the broken spring many of the moving parts were showing wear and rusting which I believe in time would have meant future service calls. And, after Jimâ??s detailed explanation of what we were getting in the repair package, the decision was obvious. Not only did he do an outstanding repair job, he explained the best maintenance method to use in order to keep the door in excellent working order and prolong the life of the moving parts and cables. I highly recommend Jim Twombly, and Precision Door Service to anyone needing garage door repair, or installation.

The technician that came to work on my door was friendly and knowledgeable. He helped with some minor issues with the door, but soon realized that the garage door was not something he could fix. He let us know that we needed to have and industrial door repair man work on the door we have on our garage. He offered a no-charge for the visit since he was not able to fix the problem.

Was very pleased with the second trip by Precision. They resolved my problem without having to install a new opener. New rollers were installed in just a few minutes and the door seems like new to me now. While I'm still out the cost of an unneeded circuit board, I do feel good about the service I received and would call them again if needed. Same day service is hard to beat.

Service repairman Bakari Hernandez came to our home on a Sunday to investigate our opener which had stopped functioning. He quickly determined that our opener could not be repaired. He installed a new opener, explained the features and warranty, and removed our old opener and hardware. Our entire experience with Precision was wonderful from beginning to end and I highly recommend them.

I wasnâ??t sure what was needed to correct our noisy garage door problem, but felt certain the old garage door opener would need to be replaced. I was not wanting to do the install myself because I wasnâ??t sure what adjustments, lubrication, and such would be needed for the old door, I knew I wanted to hire someone who knew what they were doing and would be able to do the repairs. I found Precision Garage Door Service in the yellow pages, and chose them because their ad is professional and they looked like a business that would stand behind there products. I further checked out their web page that only re-enforced that feeling. Without pushing me to towards anything, Mike gave me the information needed make the best possible choice. He confirmed my thoughts about the door opener, and gave me a run down on the products heâ??d recommend for just replacing the door opener. Though Mike and Ken informed me that the door was in reasonably good shape for as old as it was, it would require a more powerful chain driven opener to operate it. After finding out roughly what a new door would cost, I decided that to chance the doors failure in the future (the looked in good shape, but was old and hard to move by hand), I chose to replace the door. Furthermore, the price Precision quoted me gave me the ability to go with higher quality door than I would have probably chosen otherwise. I am very pleased with Mikeâ??s & Kenâ??s thoughts, knowledge, professionalism, and there friendly nature.

Jim was great but I am not happy about the "Save $20 on the service call" note in the yellow pages only to be told this is not valid unless you purchase something during the service call. Seems to me this $20 should be in addition to the $20 saved for buying parts. There is no fine print in the add mentioning this.
