$490 is alot to pay for 2 cable assemblies and reset Springs. Jezrel is an asset to your company. Very polite and very knowledgeable at what he does.

My garage door spring broke and the technician was out when he said he would be there. He was extremely polite and gave me options and explained the options. Very satisfied with the whole process and the technician Nick Oelze. The customer service from the initial call was professional, and informative. Setting up the appointment was easy and they were readily available to my schedule. The website also provided a lot of information and discounts which I used to waive the trip charge. Nick Oelze was also very professional, friendly and did a great job. I am very satisfied with their product also however, it was a bit pricey but since they offer lifetime warranty I believe it's WORTH it. For spring repairs I would suggest future customers to know what kind of spring system they have when calling to set up the repair. Precision does not work with outdated EZ set torsion springs, and they will convert them to a normal torsion springs which would give you a better system overall along with their oil coated springs. You get a better product!

I came home to a broken garage door after hours the day before the long Labor Day weekend. I called the firm that had installed the door. They did not call back the following day, so I called them and they said they could not come out until after the long weekend. I called Precision and they came at the early end of the two hour time they had given me. The technician gave me two suggested routes for repair and improvement. He explained everything. He was thorough and professional. Precision Door Service is our NEW provider!

The technicians were excellent - very knowledgable, friendly, polite & timely. They called before arriving and got the job done in good time. Very pleased with my experience. I was a bit startled by the cost, though. I wish the customer service folks had mentioned how much it would cost for the counter balance reset of the springs (an unexpected $150 added to my bill at the end - ouch - just to reset the springs we already have, no new springs included in the purchase cost). I don't know much about garage doors, but it seems to me that this should have obviously been included in a rough, verbal estimate over the phone and it wasn't. It nearly doubled the amount I was expecting to pay. So, just beware of this added cost. Looking at other company estimates to reset springs, this is definitely on the higher end of what I'm finding.
Julie, often times it is hard to determine the work involved over the phone with cable issues. That is why, once we have done our inspection and recommendations, you are in complete control of whether you would like to move forward with the repair or not based on the costs.
