I absolutely give Precision 5 stars. Sedrick, the technician was awesome. He explained everything he did very thoroughly. My spring for the garage door broke and it was a tense situation till it got fixed. Sedrick was able to recommend some other repairs which I opted to get for the long term stability of the garage door. Thank you Sedrick for a job well done, and thank you Precision for being available when I needed you.

Called on Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment on Sunday afternoon -- at no extra charge for weekends! Our technician, Nick Oelze, was friendly and professional, and explained everything really well. We will recommend Precision Door Service, and Nick, to our friends.

Dear Sir: I give a 5 star rating to my technician who fixed my garage door opener. It was an unusual problem but he quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He was also able to quickly fixed the light in my garage door opener that had never worked properly. Paul

Jezrel definitely seems to know what he is doing. He is a very nice person as well. To start, a small cable on the side of the garage door had rusted through and the garage door was not closing. They have a trip charge to come look at it for $69. I have had the garage door for over 12 years and it was installed in the house long before that. I know the cost of the cable is very minimal, but like a lot of things, repairs need to be done. In order to do this the springs have to be unwound and both cables on each side have to be replaced along with some rusted hinges. As the springs were at least 12 years old they are also likely to break. To do the cable work with the trip charge, it was going to be about $350, but if the springs broke later it will cost me another $300 or so. So I asked him what's the most I could spend? Their "package" is $799 to fix everything and you get a Lifetime Warranty. I decided to just do it all now and I should be good for quite a while. It took about 1.5 hours and the door looks and works very nice. While I didn't want to spend that much, again it's a necessity. Got to be able to open the garage door. It used to have some gaps but alot of that has been squared away and it is working great.

I was very satisfied with Mike's professionalism, his ability to define proactively issues that might be forthcoming, and his mechanical expertise. Originally I thought I only needed one spring replaced. After speaking with Mike, and answering his questions, I became confined with the age of the opener to replace the brackets, springs, etc. and obtain the lifetime warranty. I live in a condominium association and will definitely recommend to friends and neighbors.

Jezrel arrived 5 minutes before he was scheduled and explained everything thoroughly and was very friendly. He was quick to finish the job and everything was better than it was before the spring broke. He also verified the other parts in the system were still good. Jezrel was our repair technician. He was very polite and went over the issues with the bearings. Replaced the center and two ends and of course the broken spring. Did a nice job of cleaning up after the job and lubricated the double door that had the broken spring and the 3rd car garage door. He also showed me where to lubricate the cables and answered all my questions. I have already added Precision to my list of contractors and plan to leave positive feedback on Angie's List. Highly recommended.

I am satisfied with the work performed. However, I paid $563 to have two springs replaced. It seemed very high so I did some research afterwards and found that the cost ranged from $185 - $250. I wish I would have done my research ahead of time so that is my fault. Mike was very professional and did complete the job very quickly. In the past I have had good experience using home advisors....this is not one of them.

The spring broke on my garage door after 50 yrs and Precision had a full page add in the Sun Prairie phone book that said they repaired or installed a new one - so I called, they came to look at it the same day and told me it would cost 1/2 as much to fix as to buy a new one - and probably couldn't get the same rollers - too old. So Mike Z gave me an estimate and rather then get more estimates and wait longer just called the next day and ordered a new one. Steve installed in 4 hours and told me how to oil it and it looks great and is much quieter then the old one. It was time.

The gentleman arrived and checked the door over even though it worked when he got there (of course I had not opened it for 3 days) he checked it over and told me I needed new rollers and explained why, the old ones were made of plastic and the metal rails would freeze and so would the rollers. He gave me the cost said he would have it fixed in 30 minutes and he did. The door opens and is so quiet now, he asked me why I called them, My neighbor had given me there name as he had used this company before. He said to be sure to call if I needed any thing else. Great job.

I was dissatisfied with the delivery of service. The window was from 10-12 we rearranged an appointment and waited the morning. The technician called arount 2PM stating he was running late and would be there in a half hour. We understand schedules are sometimes unpredictable but when he knew he was not going to make it by 12 we should have recieved a phone call to let us know this.......This was a return call as the opener needed to be reset from the day before-- Other than this we were satisfied with the price, knowledge and workmanship from the technician the day before---the second day was a different technician...... The day before I was impressed that the technician called after being notified that the problem was completely fixed. This is the type of service I appreciate. Thank you, Joy Ninedorf
