Thanks Precision Door! Your technician called when he was on the way so I could meet him. He showed me the problem and explained that he may not be able to repair it. He ended up upgrading the cable for me, which cost more that I hoped, but he was able to do it same day. It was a bitter cold day and the young man who got out to us about 6:00 pm that evening. I knew he already had a full day of repair work under nasty conditions. He was just great! The gentleman arrived and checked the door over even though it worked when he got there (of course I had not opened it for 3 days) he checked it over and told me I needed new rollers and explained why, the old ones were made of plastic and the metal rails would freeze and so would the rollers. He gave me the cost said he would have it fixed in 30 minutes and he did. The door opens and is so quiet now, he asked me why I called them, My neighbor had given me there name as he had used this company before. He said to be sure to call if I needed any thing else. Great job.

Called at 8:30pm, and I had an appointment for the morning. Technician Mike Zahn was great, very professional, he showed me what he had discovered when he started taking the garage door hardware apart. Such as the damage that was being done from bad bearings, pulley issues and also what would/could cause future problems. I then decided to get your Torsion Package with the lifetime warranty. I would definitely if possible ask for Mike Zahn again and I would recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service.

Ken was professional and quick. He found bad side brackets and offered to replace those too. Job took him 1 hour on a cold Friday night. I was a bit disappointed in the $65 charge for each of the bracket mounts.

Bakari was very prompt and called 30 minutes before he arrived to make sure that he had the correct address. He assessed the situation and told me that all I needed was a new spring, without trying to give me a sales pitch on buying stuff I didn't need. That was much appreciated. When he was finished, he did show me something that could potentially cause me problems down the line. It was very informative and he was a quality technician. Would definitely call again if a repair is needed.

Mike Gonyo was the rep who came to my house two days in a row and he was a wonderful, conscientious installer! I initially called because my door had fallen off the rollers on a Thursday night. The phone person I talked to was very friendly and offered a dispatch, and reviewed my options. We ended up scheduling a Saturday morning appointment. Bakari the technician that came out Saturday morning was awesome and discussed my options for repair and replacement and decided that a replacement was more cost effective and would fix the root cause of the issue, instead of band-aiding the problem. Steve the installer that came out to perform the replacement was awesome as well, promptly replaced the door and explained to us what we needed to do to maintain the door so we didn't run into issues with it. I was initially hesitant due to reviews that mentioned high cost, but when we discussed the repair and replacement costs they were right in line with what I was expecting for professional service and quality. A+, would recommend.
