Very efficient service. I called Thursday night and had an appointment for Friday afternoon. The service man was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job and was efficient himself. My only complaint is that there is a $70 trip charge in addition to labor and parts. I feel if you choose to have the work done, the trip charge should be waived. Otherwise, my small 30 minute job still cost over $200. The part was $80 or $90, The rest labor and trip charge.

Rick diagnosed potential causes of broken spring very quickly and thoroughly. He offered solutions, and explained costs now and potential future costs with the scenario(s) and also based on warranties offered. It helped tremendously to make my decision. Then he repaired quickly, explained & showed the work, and gave me tips to maintain the door properly.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received for the replacement of our garage door opener. The technicians were friendly, explained what they would do, how to use the new opener and answered any questions I had. They even made sure that the eyes on the side of the door were at the right height for our small dog. Thank you!

For the most part I am satisfied. The workers were terrific, friendly, clean, efficient and explained everything. My two concerns are that the metal vertical supports on the inside of the door appear to be thinner and cheaper than on my old door, and the price was quite high. I was in a hurry to get it fixed but if you have the time I would highly recommend getting multiple estimates.

James, Thank you for your feedback. That is a very good question. Years ago the vertical supports in older doors were much heavier, depending upon the thickness of the steel. The vertical supports do not actually bear any weight of the door, they are there for structural integrity. Some manufacturers would put heavier supports to compensate for the thinner steel skins. The older more heavier vertical supports also put undo weight and stress on the door and springs, causing them to have a shorter life span. Our doors are a 25 gauge steel skin which keeps its structural integrity better on its own without adding additional weight of heavy supports.

We called for a spring repair at 4 pm. They were able to work around our schedule and come the next day at 4 pm. They were here on time and very professional. We have two big dogs which didn't phase them one bit. They ended up replacing both springs and provided us with information on other issues we may see in the next couple of years. They were bit pushy at all and got the job done quickly!! We would definitely recommend them and will use them again!!!!

I was intrigued by your website and hopeful that you would deliver what it promises, and you did. I talked to a HUMAN BEING this morning who scheduled a technician to come out today between 6 and 8 pm. Josh called me at six on the dot to tell me he was on his way, and when he arrived, he assessed the problem and went to work repairing it. He did a safety scan and found that the brackets were installed improperly on a weird angle that caused the bracket to cut into the axle significantly, a disaster waiting to happen. He gave us several options for correcting the problem if we wanted to do that tonight, outlined the charges, and answered our questions in a direct and forthcoming way. He and Jason went to work and completed the job in a manner that exceeded our expectations. I consider myself lucky (and a little wise) for finding your company and giving you my business. My husband tacked Josh's business card right next to the opener in case we need reliable help in good time. Thank you.

They provided some options for the initial repair and they did not up sell or suggest additional items or services. Service was complete in under an hour and they explained the warranty upon completion too.

Was having trouble closing my door. The safety eyes needed to be re-aligned and secured better. Harris was efficient, fixed it and did a checkup. Found on internet, will go back if ever I need to!

$85 dollars for a tech to tell me my opener is broke. Yeah, I already new that. Stay away from Precision Garage Door.

When we arrived the homeowner had their operator on the floor in many pieces. We will not fix something that was entirely disassembled. We offered Mark options on replacing the opener that obviously was broken and Mark declined. The cost was our trip charge to come out and offer our professional opinion about Mark's situation and to service, repair or replace any components of his operator. In this case, we were not able to help Mark re-assemble his operator.

The garage door broke down and David came out with his co-worker. The door was fixed fast, the guys were extremely polite and professional. I'm glad we went with the Lifetime Warranty Package. I would happily recommend them!

Our opener was acting up,so I opened the Yellow Pages and your ad stood out. I liked the part about same day service. Mike was there within the hour and diagnosed the problem. I was so surprised when I called on a Saturday and was told that a service tech would be at my home within a short time. I contacted Precision when my garage door broke. The door was fixed temporarily, but a new door was ordered immediately, install arrangements were made within hours, and delivery and installation were made as promised. The biggest thing for me was the fantastic customer service, polite, professional, and the attention to detail was outstanding. Upon completion of the install, instructions were given on maintenance of the door with the installer showing us all the important parts of the door and its operation. Best service I've ever had in my life. Thank you!!
