I work at an airport and needed weekend repair of a broken door cable to continue our operations. Waited for a day for the technician to come out which I suppose is reasonable for a weekend. When the technician showed up he was very friendly and professional but stated that it was a commercial door that he couldn't work on. I was very clear about the style and type of door with the person that took the original call and find the outcome very unacceptable. Hopefully this review will possibly help the next person with the same situation.

The new door was exactly what we had ordered and was completely installed in about two hours. We really appreciated the company contacting us with information about when the door would likely arrive and then calling to schedule the installation.

This is the second time we've had Precision Door Service work on our, at least 24-year-old, door and they are awesome. First, they replaced the bottom seal and it fits and works perfectly. This time we needed to replace the rollers, springs, and bearings. Even though they recommended some other work, Kurt Schneider, explained it all and totally understood us just wanting to start with this work first. He completed the work so quickly and expertly and didn't mind me watching to see how it is all done. Thanks for your great work and we've already recommended you to others.

This is a revised comment of garage door. After one and one half year of service the door makes snapping noises when raising and lowering. Have also found hinge screws on garage floor. There appears to be several loose screws. Previous garage door did not have this issue after 15 years. I would hesitate recommending this company’s product. Gene Moran

It was great as the problem was resolved without a lot of work, but it was something I could not have seen without his help. He fixed the problem and he went on to the next customer.

Matthew called ahead and arrived on time for my job with a smile. He was extremely personable and took his time to diagnose the issue with my garage door not closing. Matthew gave me multiple options based on budget for how to proceed, and offered his expertise and advice when I had questions - which was greatly appreciated. The work was done quickly and efficiently to replace aging springs and other components, and in the end my garage door opens just like it should again! I would recommend the services Matthew and Precision Door Service provide!

Good Evening - We had the luck that you had an opening this afternoon. Our cable broke and our door was displaced within the track. We had the pleasure to have Pedro come to our home and reviewed and fixed the door. His knowledge and politeness was much appreciated. The door if fixed and we are good to go. Thank you

I called on 9/22 and was able to have a service person here the following day to fully repair my door. Matthew the service tech was prompt, professional, and quick. He took the time to break down every part of my door and the problem as well as giving 3 price bracket solutions which I really appreciated. Would recommend, thank you!

The technician (Jake) called and said he would be able to come sooner than the agreed appt. time and asked if it was ok. He was about an hour early. He was to figure out why door wouldn't close. After performing many maintenance checks, he determined that the motor burned out on the garage door opener. The unit was about 15 years old. He was very knowledgeable and courteous when talking with him. Showed respect to me and the problem. That is not seen today that often. I asked about the cost of a new garage door. Ours was over 20 years old. He checked with the office and got me a price for a new door. He said that if I was to buy a new door, that he recommended that I install both the door and opener at the same time. It made sense to me. I would definitely recommend PGD of Wisconsin to my friends or relatives for any problems they might encounter.

First, I called this morning and shortly after got a call from Kurt, who had an opening in his schedule and could be here in 30 minutes. Then, he inspected and corrected numerous installation errors from when the door was initially installed and said his company would stand behind it and fix the issues. Kurt was prepared, knowledgeable, patient, explained things completely and in a way my wife and I could understand, and truly cared about the installation. I would recommend Precision and Kurt very highly. They were outstanding!!!!

We had a spring break late Friday night and I thought we'd be stuck without a functional door for days. Fortunately, I reached Precision and my phone call was answered by a live person - even on a Saturday morning! An appt was set for the next day (Sunday). Colin was a great tech; called ahead to confirm he was on his way with an ETA, showed up in logo'd gear and van so I knew it was him, walked through the issue with me, patiently went through the repair requirements and maintenance options, then went right to work as soon as we had agreed on next steps. He was finished faster than I thought he'd be, he went through again what he'd fixed, worked through the billing, and was on his way. Overall, a great experience and I'll be calling Precision again with any future needs.
