The two very friendly service technicians arrived early Saturday morning, on time and had my door operating properly in minutes. It was clear that the owner of this company is very concientious about the quality of technicians in his business. What a great company! Thank you, Ray Blum, for your reference to Precision Overhead Garage Door company in your not-so-great review of a competitor company. We broke a tension spring on our garage door on Christmas day with both vehicles stuck inside. On Friday, the companies we tried to contact were either closed or couldn't fit us in until the following Monday afternoon. We were desperate to make our Monday morning appointments, and then saw the reference to Precision. I called on a Saturday morning and by 4:00 p.m. the same day, we were back in business with new tension springs. Our service rep was extremely efficient and cordial, and pointed out an additional part that was rusted and near breakage, so we had that replaced as well. The bill was reasonable, the service prompt, and now we have a 5-year warranty on all of the work. I recommend this company highly.

Selected because of good reviews, and was not disappointed. Service was prompt, and the technician was very good. He was polite, explained everything, even though it was near the end of a long day. He replaced a gear, and I was impressed with how he went over the whole unit including door, opener, cables, rollers, etc., even how the door seats on the ground and made sure everything worked perfectly. I give the service call 5 stars.

We heard a big bang last night and didn't know what it was till my wife went to leave for work at 9am and the garage door wouldn't open. The cable had snapped! I called precision right away and was told someone would be out 10-noon. Mike showed up at 10:30am, which we thought was quick. (it usually is the later). He explained everything that needed replacing and took his time to make sure it was done right. I would change your 5 star rating to Excellent, rather than gorgeous. Mike did 5 star work!

Steve was courteous and professional. Right on time. He was knowledgeable and worked diligently. We recommend Steve and Precision Door Service to everyone we know. A spring flew off our door and we thought a new one had to be purchased, but Steve's honesty and professional opinion said "You don't need a new spring, your spring is in good condition." He not only re-installed our spring, he went through the entire system. He put safety cables on and adjusted our garage door opener and tension. I called Precision to come look at my garage door as it was stopping at the wrong points during its open/close cycle, and there were some odd things going on with the electronics. The tech, Mike Gonyo, figured out the issues and explained what the different remedy options were without trying to pressure me into one option over another. I ended up deciding to just replace the opener, and get a few key repairs done on door bearings. I've done remodeling/construction work in the past. I could tell by reviewing Mikes work, and how he described things, the he is extremely competent. As far as I could tell, he did both the repairs and the install to a very high level of quality. He was also very good at explaining what he did, what to look out for in the future, and gave some very good maintenance tips. I chose Precision based on a coworker's recommendation, and based on my experience, I will absolutely recommend them to others in turn.

Broken Spring service was very prompt and the work appears to be well-done. Serviceman explained the problems and solutions clearly. I took one star off for cost. Seemed a little high, and serviceman up-sold some additional part replacements. But I think they were necessary. And when you need something done fast, cost is not likely to be low. If the repairs hold up and the work is good, I definitely would use Precision again.

The service tech was on time. He was very pleasant and explained everything he was planning on doing for the repair. When he was done accessing the issue with our opener he explained what he found. The service tech has great customer skills.

First off, your email to us with photos of the person coming out was awesome. I wasn't home but my wife and son tell me the technician was very helpful, checked all three doors, advised on why our light bulbs were burning out so quickly on the door openers and just went through everything to insure all was working. I thought it was going to cost more than it did which is very impressive. So in a nutshell, value from price standpoint, service was superb and your company appears to be far more professional than any other I have dealt with and I am referring to all kinds of service businesses. So thank you very much for helping us and I wish you success because no doubt you will have it. As to a rating absolutely a 5 but I would say a 10!
