When I called for the repair service, had difficulty with the ability to hear the call taker and I was not fully certain if my needs were met. The repairman did call to confirm the appointment and was on time. He was neat, clean and polite. I found him to be attentive to my requests and knowledgeable in his trade. I would not hesitate to use the company or repairman again.

Garage door was making a "slam" noise each time opened or closed. Stu came and in 5 minutes saw the problem and had it fixed in another 15 minutes. I have wasted much time trying to find a telephone number on other websites. When I called it was easy to get an appointment without endless quests for more information about me. And the repair person who came was friendly, polite, and competent. I have accepted his advice.

Precision Door Service is a SCAM. I called and scheduled a service for a broken cable and was quoted on the phone a price of $90-$120 + a unheard of surcharge of an additional $15. Service tech arrived and told me that I now would need Bottom Brackets at $70.00 a pair ( You can buy them at Menards for $10.00 a pair) and I would also be charged $150.00 to have the springs retention. Service Tech now estimated the job would cost in total about $450.00, almost four times what I was originally quoted! I told the Technician to leave because I wasn't going to pay that much for a simple repair. On a side note I was able to secure a different provider to replace both cables, bottom brackets with new nylon rollers, retention the main springs and completely lubricate the rollers, hinges, bearings and even the overhead door opener for $150.00!!!

The team at Precision was responsive, attentive and professional from start to finish. We enjoyed working with Alex, our installer. He had a great sense of humor, spent time to ensure the job was done to our satisfaction and was a delight. He was great with out dogs and helped us understand our new opener, remotes, keypad, and the cool new wireless features of the opener too. I hope to NEVER have to see anyone from Precision again (because of the new everything), but I won't hesitate to recommend them to neighbors and friends.

The repair was done in just a few hours after the initial call and it took only about an hour. Very happy with the new opener, as it is very quiet, like the motion light in the garage, entry pad, etc.

Very efficient service. I called Thursday night and had an appointment for Friday afternoon. The service man was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job and was efficient himself. My only complaint is that there is a $70 trip charge in addition to labor and parts. I feel if you choose to have the work done, the trip charge should be waived. Otherwise, my small 30 minute job still cost over $200. The part was $80 or $90, The rest labor and trip charge.
