Called at 8:30pm, and I had an appointment for the morning. Technician Mike Zahn was great, very professional, he showed me what he had discovered when he started taking the garage door hardware apart. Such as the damage that was being done from bad bearings, pulley issues and also what would/could cause future problems. I then decided to get your Torsion Package with the lifetime warranty. I would definitely if possible ask for Mike Zahn again and I would recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service.

The gentleman arrived and checked the door over even though it worked when he got there (of course I had not opened it for 3 days) he checked it over and told me I needed new rollers and explained why, the old ones were made of plastic and the metal rails would freeze and so would the rollers. He gave me the cost said he would have it fixed in 30 minutes and he did. The door opens and is so quiet now, he asked me why I called them, My neighbor had given me there name as he had used this company before. He said to be sure to call if I needed any thing else. Great job.

In November we had our garage door fixed through your services and were satisfied. When this new problem occured we naturally thought of you. It was a bitter cold day and the young man who got out to us about 6:00 pm that evening. I knew he already had a full day of repair work under nasty conditions. He was just great! Technician was on time, knew exactly what was wrong, gave an estimate and had the opener fixed and adjusted within 45 minutes. He was polite and knowledgeable. The only reason that it wasn't a five was that I thought that the price was a bit high. I could have almost gone to Lowes and gotten a new one for what it cost, but since I know that my opener was good quality and didn't know about Lowe's openers I opted for the repair.

Bakari was very prompt and called 30 minutes before he arrived to make sure that he had the correct address. He assessed the situation and told me that all I needed was a new spring, without trying to give me a sales pitch on buying stuff I didn't need. That was much appreciated. When he was finished, he did show me something that could potentially cause me problems down the line. It was very informative and he was a quality technician. Would definitely call again if a repair is needed.

Ken was professional and quick. He found bad side brackets and offered to replace those too. Job took him 1 hour on a cold Friday night. I was a bit disappointed in the $65 charge for each of the bracket mounts.

Mike was very thorough, and despite the cold weather took the time to explain the opener, the keypad and the workings of the garage door! I initially called because my door had fallen off the rollers on a Thursday night. The phone person I talked to was very friendly and offered a dispatch, and reviewed my options. We ended up scheduling a Saturday morning appointment. Bakari the technician that came out Saturday morning was awesome and discussed my options for repair and replacement and decided that a replacement was more cost effective and would fix the root cause of the issue, instead of band-aiding the problem. Steve the installer that came out to perform the replacement was awesome as well, promptly replaced the door and explained to us what we needed to do to maintain the door so we didn't run into issues with it. I was initially hesitant due to reviews that mentioned high cost, but when we discussed the repair and replacement costs they were right in line with what I was expecting for professional service and quality. A+, would recommend.

We had our garage door fixed twice this past summer by another company out of Cross Plains and it never worked right. So, I just looked in the Home Pages in the Sun Prairie directory and saw Precision's big add with a $20 off coupon.

I was dissatisfied with the delivery of service. The window was from 10-12 we rearranged an appointment and waited the morning. The technician called arount 2PM stating he was running late and would be there in a half hour. We understand schedules are sometimes unpredictable but when he knew he was not going to make it by 12 we should have recieved a phone call to let us know this.......This was a return call as the opener needed to be reset from the day before-- Other than this we were satisfied with the price, knowledge and workmanship from the technician the day before---the second day was a different technician...... The day before I was impressed that the technician called after being notified that the problem was completely fixed. This is the type of service I appreciate. Thank you, Joy Ninedorf

Our old Stanley Garage opener failed and the Service Technician tried to repair but the gears were broken. He gave us the options and we agreed to replace just the opener at this time. He reschedule the install the next day and no repair charge was incurred and appreciated. He was able to come earlier and called to see if it was ok and I said yes but give me about 5 minutes. He took his time to complete the install and replace all the old wiring and put in the new opener and walked through the features after it was completed. Very cold day and I appreciate his excellent work. I would have given 4.5 stars if there was that option. My only disappointment was only one remote for a two car garage and the cost of a second remote quoted I felt was expensive. We found Precision in the phone book we had and I had notice one of your vehicles when I was out shopping and it made a positive impression on me to select it in the book.

Service tech seemed more interested in selling me a new opener than looking to see if old one could be serviced. The install went well but had to call back the following day to have new unit serviced, as the chain was not tightened correctly and wouldn't allow the door to open properly every time. The follow up visit went well, and door is now opening properly with the new opener after the adjustments.

Mike took the time to educate this 1st time homeowner on how to care for the garage door, what to look for and when it would be time to call a technician. It was a very cold evening and I would think I was his last job for the day and wanting to get home, but he took his time. I give him a BIG pat on the back for the GREAT job.
