I was extremely satisfied with the service provided by Mario from Precision Garage Door company. Not only did he explain what was causing the problem but what we could do to avoid this situation it in the future. This information was never given to us when we had our garage door replaced a couple of yrs. ago. In addition Mario noticed another problem that could be a concern if left unattended. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and the courteous and professionalism presented by Mario. This tells me a lot about how the company carries itself in the community it services. I wish I could give a better review. We had 2 garage doors installed back in 2023, and the sale and installation process was great. The time it took to get the doors and then get the appointment to get them installed took a while, but given they are custom doors, that can be expected. The sales guy was great, they were not the cheapest, but I was most confident with them based on the company and the sales. The install team was great. They were polite, they were thorough, and they cleaned up after themselves. Where things fall apart is this year we had an issue where the door apparently did not open all the way, and my wife backed into it and did some damage to the door. Our fault, not blaming Precision for that. Called the next day, and they sent a guy out to do a walk through and provide an estimate to repair. He said that since we just got the doors done everything should be in the system so no measurements should be needed. He said he would write it up and send the estimate later that day. That day came and went, no estimate. The next day, no estimate. So I called Precision. The nice young lady that answered was very friendly and polite, she forwarded me to another person....got their voicemail - left my info. Nothing, no call back. So the next day I called again, same nice young lady said I had to talk to the person she had directed me to earlier, but they were "On the other line". She said she would personally tell her to call me. NOTHING. So I had to call again the next day, finally got to talk to the person I was supposed to talk to, and they said the estimate had not been put in the system. So I had to go over all the info with her on the phone, she looked up our original order, so she had the measurements. She said she would write it up and send me an estimate "Shortly". End of day, still nothing. Called back (By this time the young lady that answers the phones knew my voice, and she was sooo apologetic), the estimate person had left for the day - This was a Friday, so now no estimate until at least Monday. Monday comes, no estimate. Called toward the end of the day, estimate person said "Oh so sorry, I will put it together and send it to you", nothing came. So now I have to call again the next day, they finally sent me the estimate - we have now lost almost a week just to get an estimate, and meanwhile I can't use my garage door! So I call them to accept the estimate and give my credit card info over the phone.....the person who processes cards, is unavailable, they will call me back ----yep, you guessed it, no call back. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A HARD TIME GIVING SOMEONE MONEY!!!! I called back the next day, and the young lady that answers the phone again was so pleasant, but you could hear how uncomfortable she was when she heard that no one had called me back again. She was so apologetic, and she took my card info to get the process going even though she is not authorized to process payments. Finally, someone called me back to process the payment and get the order under way. I wish this was the end of their terrible customer communication, however, it is not. They said that it would take a couple of weeks for the door panels to come in, they would have to inspect and they would call me and they gave me a target date that they would call me by. NOTHING AGAIN. Target date came and went. I waited a week, so I called. The door had come in, but they didn't call me, so now I have lost another week to get my door installed. 2-3 more weeks get the install done. The replacement guys were slated to come today, so I thought I might get a confirmation call last night....nope. However, this morning I did get a call from Sean (Shawn) indicating they were on their way to install the replacement pieces. Sean and his colleague were great. Professional, courteous, and they left no trace that they had been there. Not sure what is going on in the WI office, but they need to get their act together. If they didn't already have my door measurements in their system, I would have given serious consideration to going with another company.

We had a door and opener installed by Precision 2 years ago. No problems until a few days ago. Precision was on the job and came out the next day. The parts and service are covered under warranty. Great company and very pleased with their prompt response.

Technicians are nice and capable, but products and warranty are garbage. Precision installed (among other things) a new exterior keypad in March. In December (9 months later) it froze shut so completely that it ripped off the frame when we tried to open it, destroying the keypad exterior and internal circuit board. We have lived in Wisconsin our entire lives and have never had a keypad do that, and our technician said he had never seen it. Nonetheless, despite being within the one year warranty period we were told we had to pay full price because it was caused by "an act of nature" (as opposed to the low quality materials it is made with). And had to pay for the service call. Total rip off and will not use again.

Did a fantastic job, took care of my problem & replaced the old unit with a new one, belt now vs the old chain, put on the keypad & had us up & running a little over an hour after he arrived. I've used Precision before and was happy with the service so I decided to use them again. I recently moved and my garage door opener needed repair. Ahmad Perkins was assigned my case. He called asking to come earlier than scheduled which was beneficial to me. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He was willing to speak with my home warranty representative. Unfortunately my repairs weren't covered, but Ahmad gave me all information needed to make an informed no pressure decision. I choose to replace my the opener rather in than repairing it. He was efficient, polite, and made sure I understood everything and questions were answered before leaving. Overall, great experience!!!

About a year ago we called a different company and they came out and did about $1,300 worth of work to our garage door. Our garage door failed. Other company unresponsive to our calls so I called Precision. They came out immediately and their technician, Craig, did a great job-- even spending more time than planned as he had to fix the mistakes the first service company made. The door works beautifully and it was great to be treated in such a professional manner. Because I did not let Precision do the job in the first place, it ended up costing me much more. Just like offensive linemen in football, a garage door opener is at its best when it goes unnoticed. Much to my chagrin, my existing opener picked the day before Thanksgiving to act up. Not cool. However, Craig R was able to arrive ahead of schedule and like Anthony Muñoz, wiped out the nonsense quickly and affordably. I believe the phrase is “ahead of schedule and under budget!” Very pleased that this inconvenience was converted to a mere blip on the radar. Thank you, Precision!
