Hello Brian, I hired Precision Door because of the policy for a free inspection trip. The technician Matthew replaced a broken cable bracket on the bottom of the door yesterday, re-tensioned the springs, and said we have a one year warranty. This morning, my wife and I were unable to lift the door and believe it's because the springs aren't tensioned tight enough. We didn't have that problem prior to this time. I will call your office this morning once it opens, and ask for the follow-up visit to get the adjustment. Thank you. John Misany

I made a new friend yesterday. His name is Ahmad, and he’s a service technician for Precision Garage Doors. After three days, on and off the phone, of trying to reconnect my garage door to my WiFi app with Chamberlain “customer service, I decided to call my original garage door installer, Precision. What Chamberlain could not accomplish in three days, Ahmad did in just a few minutes. I cannot thank him enough. I highly, highly recommend Precision for all your garage door repair needs.

A courteous, talented hard working person was sent to my home. He knew exactly how to proceed. I believe his name was Amaad. (I could be off with the pronunciation or spelling.) I would recommend him to anyone who needs their garage door serviced. He installed a new set of springs because one of mine was broken. Precision installed my doors years ago, and I had some trouble with one. I called them and they came out same day to address the issue. The tech was prompt, friendly, and professional. He had the issue corrected in half an hour, and even greased the door as well! I didn’t pay a cent as the warranty covered everything. Colin arrived yesterday right on time to replace our old opener. Was glad to have someone come on the 4th of July weekend. Explained very well the options we had. Examined all the old door components to see if they were still good. Our old opener died after 17 years. Put in all new opener and new keypads. Camera on new unit a nice touch, Was a little more expensive that I thought it would be, but so is everything else nowadays. Was done in less than 2 hours, Cleaned up very well and hauled offer all the old pieces .

Our spring broke and our vehicles were trapped. I was able to get an appointment within two hours of my call on the Saturday after the Fourth of July. Technician Matthew Berends was friendly, thorough, and explained options for the broken spring as well as some other general maintenance, but did not force the issue as an upsell if I didn’t want the work done. Work was done in a timely manner and done well. I would use this company again and recommend them.

Precision Garage Door was installed June 2022. Called Precision when in July 2025, door had lifting issues, began shaking & making a popping noise after recent drastic changes in temperature & humidity. With help from Newer Technician & Supervisor, we purchased key pad, upgraded opener system &, of course, obtained more Precision spray lubricant as all garage doors I have ever owned have needed minimal regular upkeep/lubrication of metal track & roller system. Door is now quieter than before & entire family is pleased with keypad that eliminates need for others to remember to carry opener.
