Customer Service Rep who took the call was friendly and helpful and got me an appointment quickly. Service technician (Joe G.) showed up on-time as scheduled. He evaluated the problem quickly and provided me with alternative solutions to ensure that the issue was fixed. I opted for the one that will hopefully last well into the future. He said he needed two hours to complete the job, was done in less that and left only after I was fully informed and satisfied. He clearly knew what he was doing and I sincerely appreciated his knowledge and his dedication to doing the job right.

After I found my garage spring was broken I searched for a company to fix it. I found Precision and was glad I did. They came the next day and fixed everything. Dan S was great to work with and knew his stuff. He explained what he was working on and why. Since he was there I asked about a new opener and he had one along and installed that too. Very happy with service. My call was answered right away and an appointment scheduled for the next day. Technician came on time and diagnosed and fixed problem. Gave me the option to fix other things that were worn--like the rollers--and gave me some tips on garage door maintenance. Very nice and professional and did an excellent job. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door Service on Thursday morning and they were able to get a technician to my home that same afternoon. I had a 29 yr old opener that finally quit working. After discussing my options with Joe (the tech), I decided to go with the Liftmaster DC Belt Drive Opener and new rollers for the door. The whole install took about 2 hours and has made a big difference in our garage. The entire system is made with high quality components ie. opener, belt, rail, rollers, LED lights, and a wall button/pad. The LED lights are super bright and illuminate the whole garage, and the operator and belt are very quiet. We are very happy with the professional installation (thanks Joe) and the entire process! Precision Door Service totally rocks!! Customer service person answering initial phone call was extremely nice and helpful and I got an appointment for the next day with Joe who explained aspects of the door purchase very clearly and gave me multiple estimate options. I am looking forward to my beautiful new garage door system that I will be getting at a great price with timely, expert service. Joe also did a superb job giving me a temporary repair to my existing door until the new one is installed. Could not have been happier.

Joe arrived and asked about our garage door issue, ie, why it wouldn’t open. He considered three options as to what the cause of the problem could be, walked us through his work and solved the problem. He asked if we had any other garage door issues. We had one, and he tackled that one too, explaining what he was doing as he progressed. In all, it took less than 30 minutes.

I selected Precision because of the Google review and Google guarantee. My experience was very positive. They arrived next day in less than 24 hours on time or actually early to their 12-4 appointment window, 12:10 PM to be exact. The technician was extremely informative, thorough and expert and professional. He made the necessary repair and tuned up (i.e. adjusted, lubricated and re-programed all remotes). I would estimate he was here just over an hour. However, the Precision service call charge went from $69.95 to $284.90! So to sum up this review the service was outstanding but not cheap! The 4 stars is solely related to price.

Pro: Technician was nice and knowledgeable. Con: Company does not carry parts for my particular, common, brand of garage so they were unable to repair. Would have been nice to know which brands they can service before paying someone $85 to say that. When scheduling appointment, I was made aware of the $69 trip fee but then got charged an additional $15 "Environment Surcharge - Environmental/Maintenance" fee even though no repairs were made.

Yes to your questions. Also, new parts (replacements) were purchased as well as cables replaced under warranty. This was our 4th work by Precision on our garage door since 2015 with parts installed then and routine maintenance performed in 2018 and 19; all work very professionally done by very capable technicians. Only disappointment was that in 2015, the trip charge was reduced $20 since new parts were purchased. That same $20 reduction of the trip charge disappeared with the 2020 repair work although new parts were purchased in addition to that covered by warranty.

Not very happy with the service. Was told I would have the garage door and opener 4 to 6 weeks. It took 9 weeks and my opener was not working for 9 weeks. Very inconvenient for us! Plus I would call to see what was the hold up was and would not get a call back.Then I was sent two inexperienced service men. Called for a service appointment to adjust the door. They said will call me back for a time.

I am satisfied with the repair but feel like I was ripped off on the price. Last time I paid about $300 to have this company replace 2 springs. In checking the average costs online, the average cost is given as $200-300. I was charged $657 which did include new rollers. I would never have selected this company if I knew they were going to double the price from what I paid last time. I complained to the tech but he just shrugged his shoulders. I hope this review saves some other senior living on social security from being ripped off like I was. Again the repair was fine and the tech friendly and competent. Just way too much money. Never again.

My husband found a coupon in an advertising flyer. He called in, was able to schedule and appointment for next day. Our garage door was still functioning but making a lot of noise when opening and closing. Service person called ahead and was right on time. He was very professional and courteous. He greased and lubricated the door parts. The light was malfunctioning and he repaired it. Door is now working much more smoothly. Thank you.
