We have had Precision repair our large garage door when the spring broke and were very happy with their service. And now years later our smaller garage door failed. I knew exactly who we should call. We had an old opener blow into pieces. Called Precision on a Saturday morning. Within an hour our Technician Matthew was on site and installed two new openers for us. Very professional and informative. Very pleased with the completed job.

I am very disappointed in your company and service. Per your email, I contacted you THREE times before leaving a negative review to go over my issues with your company. NEVER returned my calls!! Matthew Berends Came out. Tried to pressure me into almost $2,000.00 when all I needed was a spring replaced and cable put back on. He said he did I not know how to fix the cable so insisted on me buying a new garage door opener and I could not. So instead of fixing it I now have a slide bolt to lock my garage door. Not what I wanted. All because a garage door company did not know how to fix a cable?? I was also charged $15.00 for environmental clean up of parts except the old parts were left behind...so I was fraudulently charged AND the door was promised to be balanced after the new double the price of other companies springs were installed and itIS NOT!!!!You lift it it falls ...it will NOT stay at any height. POOR service. Never use this unprofessional, company. They clearly either do not know what they are doing or just do not care. Maybe just like taking advantage of the elderly....

We called for service in the AM and they gave us an appointment for that afternoon. Our service man explained what was wrong and the options for fixing it, including price and warranty. All work was completed the same day and our garage door now works quietly and dependably.

I was referred by a family member who used Precision. I purchased a new opener separately and needed installation. Everything about the service was great from the initial contact through completed installation. Joe was our installer. Simply terrific. He did a thorough inspection and noticed several other parts that needed replacement or maintenance. He explained everything well and answered all my questions. After he completed the work he showed me what he had done and also thoroughly explained the operations. I would definitely use them again. Thank you!

We are extremely pleased with the service we received from you. Starting with Todd, who explained everything to us very clearly. He was patient with us as we decided what we wanted in a door. We had the rubber bottom of our door fixed by another company by accident. We were informed that the Precision Tech who put in a new spring a year earlier was not enough for the weight of our door and that it was a safety issue as it would not stay up on its own if necessary to lift it manually. I called Precision regarding this. The scheduler was very polite and said a tech would come out to evaluate which they were prompt in coming. They accused the other company of tampering with the spring, and made the 2 turns necessary I am told to lighten the door. All was good til they charged the $159 service call charge which did not seem fair.

I gave them 5 stars just after the the tech left because it seemed to be working. He switched the sensors from side to side, that didn't work so he ran one new wire and it worked but by that time the sun was alittle higher and hit the door at a different angle and thats why it was working. To the tecks credit he said it was a possibility that the sensor was bad. He also changed out the roller bearings on both doors at in my opion a very high price. I should have asked the price before I had him do it, that is my fault. it turns out the next day when the sun light hit the door didn't work so I called precision and told them the operator didn't offer to send someone out at no charge (other than parts) to fix the problem so I went to HD, got the sensors for $35 (not the $250 he estimated) used the old wiring and it's been working ever since. I'm giving them a 3 star because of the teck not the pricing.

Sorry to say that the service I received was far below my expectations. Tech person was not sure what was wrong and after some thought figured that the existing springs (unbroken) we too weak to lift the door. The door did not go down either. So I let him change out the springs to at the cost of just below $600. We tried the door it operated well. Not the end of the story. Just a few minutes later I moved my vehicle back into the open garage and the door would not go down at all. Just a dull grinding noise. The installer could not be even a mile away so I called. Got another appointment for4 days later. Today he came back ready to sell me an expensive door motor but had no explanation of why it was needed now with the new springs. His prices would have been between $1100 and $800 dollars! No discount for making up for the springs I maybe did not need. I did check the cost of opener motors in the days since his last stop. Found name brand motors (with more HP) for between $250 and $350. Did not look too difficult on UTube to install. So I message is...catchy and frequent advertising but just unable to deliver all that was promised. I will use these exact words in every future conversation I might have with others so they take their business elsewhere. If you have found this review on line, heed my warning and go elsewhere.

You installed our door 3 years ago and we were happy with your service then. Today the young man who came was very courteous and helpful and was able to fix the problem quickly. He also showed me how best to lubricate the door to keep it working smoothly. He also helped me re-program our keypad and was very patient with both things. Precision Garage Doors was wonderful to deal with and made everything so easy and convenient for me. Kurt came out and replaced my opener and installed safety sensors in less than an hour. He was so nice and explained everything that needed to be done, answered my questions and showed me how to use the new equipment. I couldn’t have asked for anyone nicer. I will certainly call Precision again if I need help with my garage door.

My keypad broke late Friday pm of Memorial Day weekend. I was sure I was not going to be able to get someone to fix or replace it until after the weekend. I called Precision Door and to my surprise they were able to schedule someone for the next am. My repair person, Collin called and gave me a time when I could expect him. He arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, replaced my keypad and checked to make sure there weren’t any other issues. He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend Precision Door!
