My cable broke on a vacation day! Yup, stuck in the garage late afternoon. I found Precision Door Service by Googling garage door repairs. I was hesitant when I called and the person I talked with was in a different city. She was nice, professional and assured me they could have someone there within 2 hours. I took the gamble and was VERY GLAD I did! The guy who repaired my cables/door was professional, polite, nice, and very efficient. He took the time to explain what had happened and what will likely happen in the future. I have only GREAT things to say and will use them again when needed.

in the past week, my garage door opened twice - the first time I was at home, the second time I came home to find it open. The service guy Alex (very nice guy) said he felt that replacing the "mother board" would correct the problem. I have still been un-plugging it at night, but so far the couple I have left the house and came back the door was still closed. Hope the problem is corrected, I guess time will tell.

I liked the website when I was taken to it after searching for "overhead garage door" - or something like that. And there was the telephone number so I could call. Easy. I have wasted much time trying to find a telephone number on other websites. When I called it was easy to get an appointment without endless quests for more information about me. Technician Rick was right on time and efficiently corrected a situation in which the wall anchor bracket for the operating track pulled away from the wall, and adjusted spring tension, a process that can be hazardous for those who might try to Do-It-Yourself. Here is my experience. On a Saturday early afternoon I cam home, hit the garage door opener and the door only opened 6 inches and stopped. I found that one of the springs had snapped. I called the number on my garage door to get service. The call center took my information. A scheduler called back and said that there is no-one available over the weekend but could send someone out Monday. One of my cars was trapped int he garage. With the spring broke and the other one about to go the door was too heavy to lift. I then found Precision Door (844-737-3667) Company through Google and called. They setup an appointment for the next day, Sunday, between 10am and 11am. @ 10am: Dale Young from Precision Door called letting me know that he is 15 minutes out. @ 10:18am: Dale showed up and walked through the issues and did an overall inspection. The door hardware was in bad shape with very rusted door rollers, cables and very worn shaft bearings. He was able to replace all the broken and warn parts. The door is quieter than when it was new. Dale was very personable, professional and competent. The cost was also less than the original door company quote. Precision also provided a lifetime warranty for the work. I am a home owner with an aging house so I have many experiences with service companies. This experience by far was the smoothest and most hassle free.
