this was a total replacement of a very old garage door system at my daughter's home in Madison and as she was at work, I was present for the installation to help her out. She chose Precision Door initially because of a coupon we received in the mail, but then after talking to several other companies, settled on Precision for price and availability and warranty. The scheduling folks were very helpful in offering us several options for more rapid installation when cancellations occurred before our scheduled date, and never argued when we were unable to accommodate a change in date. On the scheduled date, the two man crew arrived early in the stated window of time, and were polite, efficient and very friendly andprofessional. They completed an entire replacement of the double garage door, rails and belt drive opener in just over 2 hours and cleaned up the entire area spotlessly when done. They explained the use and care of the door as well as the warranty and told us if there were any concerns to just call and Precision Door would come back and make things right. The door is beautiful, the weather stripping and rails are perfectly installed as is the opener, and the operation of the door is smooth and nearly silent. I would give them my unconditional reference.

Kurt Schneider did a fabulous job! He was very friendly and professional. He went over in great detail what was wrong and what the estimate was for. He did make a recommendation and what we may need for the future but he did not force us to do the recommendations now. He complimented me on how I have been maintaining the garage door with the lubrication spray and how that has really helped any further damage to the door. I really hope I get Kurt as a technician in the future. He was awesome!

I had called because the cables on my garage door were fraying. They had Kurt out to my house within a couple of hours. He was prompt, friendly, and professional. He not only fixed the cables but installed new insulation, coils, and a garage door opener. I am very pleased with the service we received from both him and the company.

My garage door broke on Sunday. I called, they were out here within the hour. I worked with the technician Pedro, he was very forma, polite, and knowledgeable on everything. 10 out of 10!

I was quoted $125-$189 for the spring repair and $70 for labor trip charge on the phone. What I got was extreme price gouging and felt pressured to go ahead with other repairs with super inflated prices. The $350 for the spring isn’t really an issue because it looks like a higher quality spring. I was charged $95 for bottom brackets that had a retail cost on Amazon of about $12, $95 for a center bearing plate that would cost between $10-20 retail, $140 for an operator bracket that should cost $20-50, $160 for 7 feet of steel cable pulley. I got fleeced because I wasn’t knowledgeable of these parts and their cost. Repair time took 40 min tops and trip charge is knocked off if they do the repair. I imagine Precision pocketed $300-400 over that actual operations cost today. Not happy. Edit-Nothing against the tech-just the extreme price gouging.

Wow! I called today about problems with my "possessed" garage door. Joe arrived within an hour, assessed the problem, explained solutions without trying to pressure a sale and within 2 hours installed a new opener, keypad, spring unit and helped me set up an app on my phone for my new opener! Plus, there was nothing I had to clean up! I am impressed!

We have used Precision many times in the past and didn't hesitate to call when our door would not open at all. Luckily there was an opening late that afternoon and Pedro showed up within an hour of our call. There was a broken spring which was replaced. Before starting his work, he provided us with 3 options that would fix the problem - and also an option that would help make our door and opener last longer. After checking out all of the moving parts, Pedro was able to grease everything that needed it, replaced the spring and parts connected to the spring. He tuned up what was needed. It is now quieter and faster. Pedro did an excellent job and was friendly and knowledgeable.

Our experience with Precision was excellent and then some. Our spring broke, so we couldn't open the garage door. Made the call and the next morning, their technician was there to make the repair. Kurt (the tech) was extremely friendly and walked me through all the different repair options available. No pressure, just good info. Made all the repairs, inspected the other components and even showed me some features our garage door opener had that we didn't realize! Everything was fixed and good as new within 45 minutes. Extremely happy with the service Kurt gave us.

I've seen the commercials on TV. I've known for some time that my garage doors needed attention. I finally made the call. First class service right away, they were able to come that day. That is unheard of in this day. I wasn't available so we scheduled their service call for the next day. My technician Pedro, who is amazing, called before he came to ensure the timing would work with my schedule. He pulled up right on time. We chatted about my issues with my door. Pedro then began his inspection. Upon completion of that inspection he and I spoke about the issues my garage door was experiencing. He then went over solutions and cost. He clearly explained every step and why it was needed or not needed. In the end he completed the approved work in a very timely fashion. I paid my bill and he went on his way.
