I informed Mike what the issue was whenever the garage door was opened. He tested it out discovered the problem, stated he had never seen this problem before. He replaced both aluminum drums and cables. Mike took the time to show me what the problem was and the defective parts.

I needed assistance for my elderly mother's garage door. Precision was able to come out the same day I called. The problem was more complicated and involved than I had figured. Precision indicated what else needed to be done and explained the costs and even pointed out alternatives (whole new door) which would be about the same price. Excellent work and pleasant to work with. Even though came late in the day (the time agreed to) they finished the job. Would gladly recommend to others.

The spring broke on my garage door after 50 yrs and Precision had a full page add in the Sun Prairie phone book that said they repaired or installed a new one - so I called, they came to look at it the same day and told me it would cost 1/2 as much to fix as to buy a new one - and probably couldn't get the same rollers - too old. So Mike Z gave me an estimate and rather then get more estimates and wait longer just called the next day and ordered a new one. Steve installed in 4 hours and told me how to oil it and it looks great and is much quieter then the old one. It was time.

OUTSTANDING Quality & Customer Service! Precision Door is the ONLY Garage Door Company in the area that provides the option of factory custom painted garage doors!!! We are building a house and we went with cream colored trim which we love; however to find a garage door that matches exactly it was next to impossible to find and no other garage door company offers the factory custom painted garage door. The closest color to cream out there is Almond; however Almond has a yellowish tone to it and doesnâ??t match. I was fretting about it as I wanted the garage doors to match the trim on our house. Many of the other garage door companies told me that I could paint the door myself, but they did say they wouldnâ??t recommend it. I knew that wasnâ??t an option as garage doors arenâ??t meant to be painted and knew we would have issues with paint chipping etc. down the road. I then decided to give Precision Door a call as I had heard great things about them. When I called Karen the office manager inquiring about their garage doors and the fact that I was looking for a custom colored garage door she informed me that custom colored garage doors is an option! I was completely relieved as we were going back and forth with the possibility of having to change our trim color to white opposed to cream due to the garage doors. When I called to request a quote, the office manager, Karen was very helpful and asked what we were looking for and our budget, opposed to just shooting us a quote. I then informed Karen of what we wanted and she sent us several pictures of the different styles I had mentioned. Now that I knew we had the color figured out then we needed to figure out what kind of door we wanted to go with and the type of opener. Karen the office manager emailed me a few fact sheets which gave a description of each of my options. I then had a few additional questions and the Owner, Brian actually called me to discuss my options within my budgeted price. WOW â?? I was very impressed as Precision Door has quite the team! After figuring out the custom paint color, style of door and type of opener then I was introduced to Stu who came out to our house to take final measurements prior to the order being placed. Stu was outstanding, he was very professional and informative. Stu noticed on our order that we decided to go with the Chain Drive Opener and he highly suggested to us that we spend the little extra money and go with the belt drive instead of the chain drive opener. He said it is much quieter and it is truly worth the extra money. Stu was such a nice person and we could tell that he was just informing us and not pushing us to upgrade so we went with his suggestion. Now that our garage door order was placed with Precision Door our final step was install. Steve was our install guy and he was outstanding. The doors are absolutely beautiful and the custom paint color matches our trim perfectly, we couldnâ??t be happier! We went with the carriage style door and they completely make the front of our houseâ?¦..it is amazing how a garage door can either make or break the look of your house! Stu was right the belt drive is so unbelievably quiet it is amazing! Precision Door is off the charts compared to other garage door competitors around the area. I received quotes from 3 other garage door companies around our area and to be honest Precision Door was the highest price; however after speaking with the Owner, Brian and members of his team I quickly found out that other garage door companies quality was nowhere near Precision Door Quality & Service. Precision Door Quality & Customer Service from start to finish is off the charts!! I had such a great experience with this company. The crew scheduled to be at my home was running behind schedule and I was promptly called and informed of the change. When they arrived it was late and likely they already had a long day, yet their attitudes were outstanding.
