The two men from Precision were thorough about the garage door repair that we needed. They were done within an hour and explained everything that they worked on. We had previously needed repairs done which were completed by Precision and we had purchased their Lifetime Warranty package. I had the electronic eyes on my single door replaced. The techs did a great job. However, after the work they only checked the operation on the door they worked on. If they had checked the operation of the double door they would have seen it did not work. The electric eye next to the door they worked on was knocked out of alignment thus the door would not close. I have played with that eye several times and have it working, but it is still giving me trouble. I have never had problem with the eyes on the double door until now. (That door was installed 16 years ago.)

Steve was professional, knowledgeable, honest and very good at what he does. He was there 4 hours after calling.He repaired a broken spring and the door has never operated so well, even when first installed. We are recommending Precision to anyone who has a need. They showed up right on time. The technician was very nice. He gave me many suggestions to maintain my garage door. My only complaint is that I was not quoted over the phone with the service call or fuel surcharge fee. I understand that a service center gives out quotes, but misleading none the less. Over all I am very satisfied with the service.

The website looked very professional and the repairman called and arrived earlier and was very courteous. I declined the "extras" and opted for the better quality spring quoted at $169 installed. Someone should have indicated that it is $169 times two springs and then a $50 service charge for a total of $402. I called the manager Karen and was informed that the repair could be done with the cheaper springs......which the technician did without a complaint. I called back all the estimates I got yesterday to make sure they included BOTH springs and YES for $200 to $250 total with a TEN year warranty. Don't expect customers to know when you say $169 installed that it means twice that and another $50 for service. Sorry for the one star guys. When someone tells me its a broken spring.....I assume its one broken spring.
I appreciate your feedback. On your particular door you have a two spring system. This was not mentioned by you when you booked the appointment. We can certainly replace one broken spring on a two spring system, but we do not recommend it. It is very likely that the other spring may break within a short time, due to it helping the spring that was weak or broken. I am also glad that you checked around and found that the prices we charge for your repair were in the same ball park. I believe your invoice total was $262.95.

We chose Precision from their ad in the telephone book. We called on a Saturday morning at 7 a.m. They gave us an appointment time of 10 a.m. - noon, and were there at 9:30 a.m. Service was efficient, the technician was thorough, and we would use Precision again.

Mike my service guy was very helpful - showed me how I can adjust the operator up/down and how to grease the rollers/hinges each year. Totally worth every penny. When you are a single mom, often times you hate making a call for service, but it was a great experience, felt totally comfortable.

One star? Why? You may ask. My only answer can only be, greed! I just purchased this residence and was told by the seller that one of the garage door openers was broken. It had a new battery but it still didn't work. So i "googled" your business name, got the phone number and called. I explained to the receptionist what was wrong and was looking for some advice. She insisted that a technician would have to come and diagnose and repair the problem. Your technician arrived in a timely manner. he was very polite, friendly, etc. I explained what was wrong to him. He asked for the remote, pushed a button on the opener unit and pushed the button on the remote and told me the problem was solved as he had just re-programmed the remote. THAT simple act cost me $84.95. That little problem probably is very common. I used to live in Washington Co. but left for 12 years. I guess I'll have to shop around in the future and stay away from Menomonee Falls. By the way, I will give your Technician 5 stars as he seemed like a "stand up guy".
It may seem like a simple repair now that the work is completed. There are many variables and components that can break or wear down on an opener. To troubleshoot every single one over the phone would be hard. We do however have videos on our website that address common issues that could be tried before calling us and/or referencing an owners manual. When you called us, I would believed that you had exhausted all your efforts and decided to call a professional to diagnose and fix your issue.

The young man who came to replace the opener was great - he was even a little early (which I appreciated). He took all the time I needed to explain how things worked. Ken was professional and quick. He found bad side brackets and offered to replace those too. Job took him 1 hour on a cold Friday night. I was a bit disappointed in the $65 charge for each of the bracket mounts.
