BRIAN: I choose Not to give you any star/rating because of your business desires to over-charge. I called on a referral, not seeking preliminary estimate/range of service. I agreed to a $69 fee for a tech to drive here for a quote. We spoke, he gave 3 prices: Full torsion spring & shaft replacement to the existing door @$1000.oo (also plus work @$1250.oo & $1500.oo). I believed each was High Price, but agreed to the lowest dollar repair. Had I done my tele/ homework prior, ie Geis Door @ $272, Hartland Door @ $273, & A-1 Service @ $382 less $75 coupon= $305 (all materials&labor) I believe I am due compensation-You are not Fair - bad business!!

Amazing service! A couple of years ago Precision came out the same day and installed a new garage door opener which has worked fantastic. On Friday, January 12th, during the worst snow storm that we have had in quite some time, one of the cables broke on our garage door. Without hesitation I immediately called Precision thinking that maybe they could get out and fix it the following week. To my surprise they were able to schedule the repair for the next day. Saturday morning, realizing how bad the storm was, a friendly woman called to check if our driveway was clear and if the repairman would be able to navigate our subdivision. I said, our driveway is clear but I wasn't sure about the roads thinking again that the repair would have to wait till Monday. Without complaint or irritation, she said that she had to make 75 phone calls that morning and would call back to check the conditions of our roads. About an hour later while I was cleaning up some snow, Colin the repairman showed up. Colin evaluated the repair and gave me an estimate. Once he began he consulted with me saying that he did not have to repair as much as he originally thought so the repair would be $200 less than the original quote. Colin could have easily stuck with the original price and I wouldn't have thought twice about it. He also made a suggestion to eventually install a new garage door, gave me the options, but did not pressure the sale at all. Colin was outstanding! He never complained once about the weather conditions or that he was working on a Saturday. I enjoyed Colin's great attitude and contagious laugh. My wife even felt bad that she had to rush out to an appointment and wasn't able to say hi to him. I wouldn't say price is never an option but based on the quality, timeliness, friendliness and great service, Precision is the only choice for garage door installation and repair. I would recommend them to anyone.

Note: garage doors and opener installed. We had your company do a spring repair in the past, and when we called, you had an estimator out the same day. I forgot to ask about opening the garage door during a power outage. There are no handles on either side. Do we use the small metal rod connecting panels, possibly with a rope through it? I got my finger stuck between panels on a manual opener in the past. We are very happy with the product and workers, especially the quietness of the opener.

Have used them over the 35 years in our house. They are reasonably priced, same day or next day service and on time. Our technician Aaron was very good, explained repairs and was done when he said it would be done. Garage worked great when he finished. We highly recommend them.

Young man was very professional and knowledgeable, gave explanations in what he was doing and why. Saved me money by performing adjustments and not replacing what I thought was needed. He could have just performed what I asked and charged me accordingly but chose to explain why I didn’t need to do what I wanted then showed me. Very impressed with his integrity and honesty. Precision Door did an outstanding job on the garage door installation. The sales rep did a good job explaining the products available. I feel the price paid was fair. The only down side was waiting about 10 weeks to get the door installed. I think the office could of kept us better informed on the status. I am very happy with the service provided by Colin today. He arrived at the estimated time. When I asked how the garage door could be quieter, he suggested replacing the metal rollers to a different type which he did quickly. Then all the hinges got sprayed. He quickly did the work. I will definitely call Precision for any future garage door needs. Highly recommend to family & friends.
