Our repair technician Jim Twombly is honest, courteous, and technically proficient in his craft. He pointed out exactly what needed repair, and the options that were available to us in order to get the job done. We opted for the Torsion Overhaul because in addition to the broken spring many of the moving parts were showing wear and rusting which I believe in time would have meant future service calls. And, after Jimâ??s detailed explanation of what we were getting in the repair package, the decision was obvious. Not only did he do an outstanding repair job, he explained the best maintenance method to use in order to keep the door in excellent working order and prolong the life of the moving parts and cables. The tech was good, and fast. I would have rated 5 start if not for the phone rep who quoted me $99.00 per spring and after install the price for a different spring that was put in was $169.00 per spring. Phone rep should have informed me of the 2 choices and then when repair tech came out I could be the one to make the decision.

We called later in the afternoon and the technician was here within 2 hours! He was very personable and easily addressed the problem. Just like the last group that was here to replace the garage door opener(on the other door), spoke in a language that we could understand. He did not try to oversell on something that did not need to be fixed, just found the problem and fixed it.

Door was repaired in February. It has been running hesitantly for about a month and I wanted to make sure that it was back running smoothly like it had been after it was repaired. Mike looked it over and lubricated all moving parts. It is working much better. Mike suggested that maybe new rollers would be appropriate. The door is over 15 years old.

I did not get a chance to meet Mike personally, but chatted with him over the phone regarding my needed repairs. He was a pleasure to work with - very knowledgable and gave me some good advice yet did not try to "upsell" me on things that I did not really need. I could not be happier with the work he did for us - I'd give him 6 starts if I could!
