After suspecting a broken spring on our garage door opener late Wednesday night after taking garbage cans out, I knew I'd have to search for online repair sites. I checked out various companies and chose Precision Door based primarily on reviews. I also liked that it was a Veteran owned company, as my husband is a Vietnam veteran. A technician named Jake R. showed up at my door within a few hours of my call, and he also called to let me know he was on his way. He was so courteous and respectful...and he was a dog lover as well which made our Phoebe more comfortable. Ruff, ruff! Jake diagnosed the issues immediately. He's very knowledgeable about his job and is eager to educate anyone who needs to know more about garage door opener springs, rollers, cables, brackets, boxes, keypads, etc. I got Garage Door Opener Class 101 in a matter of minutes! He was also sure to explain the differing 3 plans and their financial comparisons. There was no pressure on which plan to choose. I felt that Jake was refreshingly authentic and has a high work standard. He is an exemplary representative of Precision Door. I will highly recommend your company to others in need. Our garage door was opening and closing of its own accord. We finally pulled the plug on the power source in order to keep it shut. Problem solved after Matthew came and figured out what the problems were. He took the time to do a complete check of our system and gave us a couple of options to consider for fixing it. I am very disappointed in your company and service. Per your email, I contacted you THREE times before leaving a negative review to go over my issues with your company. NEVER returned my calls!! Matthew Berends Came out. Tried to pressure me into almost $2,000.00 when all I needed was a spring replaced and cable put back on. He said he did I not know how to fix the cable so insisted on me buying a new garage door opener and I could not. So instead of fixing it I now have a slide bolt to lock my garage door. Not what I wanted. All because a garage door company did not know how to fix a cable?? I was also charged $15.00 for environmental clean up of parts except the old parts were left behind...so I was fraudulently charged AND the door was promised to be balanced after the new double the price of other companies springs were installed and itIS NOT!!!!You lift it it falls ...it will NOT stay at any height. POOR service. Never use this unprofessional, company. They clearly either do not know what they are doing or just do not care. Maybe just like taking advantage of the elderly....

I called for service as my door would not consistently close. I was asked when would be good for me. I, half joking, said tomorrow. The agent said sure, would morning work? After my jaw hit the floor I told her that that would be fantastic. At 8:05 am Jake called and said he would be here in 40 minutes. He was right on time, friendly and professional. Kudos to Jake. Problem solved. My only regret is that I didn't catch the name of the person that I initially had contact with. My hat's off to you and thanks to all for taking care of my problem so quickly. It's nice to know there are still great people in the service industry.

Excellent customer service starting with the person answering the phone who schedule an appointment the same morning I call, to the service technician, Colin Horsch who called to confirm his arrival time and arrived on time! Jacob did a great job. Showed me the problem and talked me through why it was an issue. Professional and courteous. And, I like that you give me a Good, Better and Best option. Also, I appreciate walking through things after repair and giving advice on how to service/maintain. The only thing I can complain about is I feel like all the options were expensive. I did the minimal Good option and $1k seems like a lot for a couple of cables and springs (and requisite labor). I also think the trip charge should be rolled into bill if I elect to have you do the work like other business' do. I would definitely recommend, but due diligence on quotes I guess.

Needed a new opener for garage and to reprogram existing ones. The guys did a complete job and did it in timely fashion. Scheduling over the phone was super easy as well.

A knowledgeable repairman. Showed up on time. Didn't take a lot of time for an over 60-year-old door. But the parts were a little pricey. But I get it. Not to mention Biden's inflation.

I called at 8:00 am and Colin, the technician, was at my door at about 12:15 pm. He evaluated the problem, gave me the cost estimate, and fixed it all. He was very professional, kind, courteous, and efficient! He left at about 1:30 pm and everything was good to go. He replaced the broken springs, rod, and all the hardware on my garage door. Oh, and he listens to some great music while he works!

Our garage door started opening on its own. We woke up one morning and found the garage open to the elements and the animals that roam our neighborhood. It was one of those irritating intermittent problems that you could not recreate. We contacted Precision and a tech was out the next day. He did a complete inspection and determined that the mother board in our opener needed to be replaced. Since the opener was installed in 2004 a part was not readily available and had to be ordered. The tech came out installed the new mother board and reprogrammed our openers for $300, much cheaper than getting a new garage door opener, that have would run close to $1000. Works great, price was right, and service was timely and professional. We'd recommend Precision to friends and family.
