The work performed was well done. The one complaint I have is, when I was shown the quote for a new door opener, it did not include all the extra stuff done. After showing me the quote for the new opener he mentioned various concerns on our existing door, however by the time he finished addressing all that appeared to be wrong I was so confused I just said yes go ahead and take care of those things. I was not given any itemized prices for those extra things so was quite surprised to see our total went from $675 to $1635. I had already seen the quote for $675. I didn’t realize all the extras added on that much more to our bill. Quite the shock!

When the technician gave me the estimate to repair my garage door, I was surprise by the amount. After paying the bill and I received the receipt by e-mail, I became aware of the fact it was the "Best" estimate and there was also a "Better" and Good" estimate, which I was never made aware of before the work began. I would have liked to have know this and to have discussed these options with the technician. Beyond that the technician was always respectful and answered all my questions. As best as I could tell the work quality was very good.

Early Monday morning, October 4th, I was attempting to leave for a workout class when our garage door broke. At the workout class Maria asked how it was going. I responded that our garage door broke, so it wasn't a great start to the day. Without hesitation Maria recommended Precision. She shared Scott's contact information with me. By the time I left a message with Scott, Maria had already texted Scott concerning our situation. Scott left me a message and immediately answered when I called back. Without even knowing all the details of our garage door situation, Scott put us on the schedule to send a service technician out the same day! Jacob came exactly at 4pm, the beginning of the scheduled service window. Jacob was very thorough when inspecting the problem. He came up with an estimate before he started work, and gave us three options to fix the door. Jacob worked on our garage door from 4pm to 7:30pm. Jacob never complained, and never said that there was something he couldn't or wouldn't do. He recommended a new opener with outstanding features, and talked me through the blue tooth set up on my phone. Scott and Jacob are examples of providing outstanding customer service. I will definitely recommend Precision to anyone in need of garage door assistance!

Came home Saturday afternoon to find our garage door wouldn’t open. Called Precision Door and was given an appointment between 8AM and noon Sunday. Colin called at 8:03 and was here within 10 minutes. He inspected the door and said we had a broken spring. He gave us two options for repair. By 9:15 he had it repaired and went through everything with us. I’ve used Precision in the past and have always been very happy with them and the level of professionalism the techs have.

Technician had no clue on what type of garage door, stayed on the phone for over an hour with experienced guy so he can tell me at the end that he THINKS that I need a new one. I have even thought I asked when I scheduled the appointment if they need my garage door serial bum and model so they can get an idea what they are working with. But they said they work with every brand and model out there. Basically paid $ 80 for nothing.

Precision Door Service came out in the same day to repair my garage door that wouldn't open. Kurt Schneider was the repair tech that fixed my problem. He explained in detail what was wrong with my problem and what the repair would be. He completed the repair in the timeframe that he quoted. Garage door is working great since the repair. Thanks Kurt.
