Thanks Precision Door! Your technician called when he was on the way so I could meet him. He showed me the problem and explained that he may not be able to repair it. He ended up upgrading the cable for me, which cost more that I hoped, but he was able to do it same day. Bakari was very prompt and called 30 minutes before he arrived to make sure that he had the correct address. He assessed the situation and told me that all I needed was a new spring, without trying to give me a sales pitch on buying stuff I didn't need. That was much appreciated. When he was finished, he did show me something that could potentially cause me problems down the line. It was very informative and he was a quality technician. Would definitely call again if a repair is needed.

Our old Stanley Garage opener failed and the Service Technician tried to repair but the gears were broken. He gave us the options and we agreed to replace just the opener at this time. He reschedule the install the next day and no repair charge was incurred and appreciated. He was able to come earlier and called to see if it was ok and I said yes but give me about 5 minutes. He took his time to complete the install and replace all the old wiring and put in the new opener and walked through the features after it was completed. Very cold day and I appreciate his excellent work. I would have given 4.5 stars if there was that option. My only disappointment was only one remote for a two car garage and the cost of a second remote quoted I felt was expensive. We found Precision in the phone book we had and I had notice one of your vehicles when I was out shopping and it made a positive impression on me to select it in the book.

Service tech seemed more interested in selling me a new opener than looking to see if old one could be serviced. The install went well but had to call back the following day to have new unit serviced, as the chain was not tightened correctly and wouldn't allow the door to open properly every time. The follow up visit went well, and door is now opening properly with the new opener after the adjustments.

The service call time estimate was very accurate. Our Tech quickly diagnosed the problem - a worn out inner gear on the Liftmaster unit, understandable after 15 years in operation. He also checked the other components of the door springs, etc. This is the second time we needed service and again very prompt and left the door system working and sounding great. We are so happy we called Precision for our opener replacement. Every step of the process from scheduling to the service provided by your technician Bakari. I told him he should have his picture on his profile like the other techs because he was better looking than me!! We had him also redo the work of another company because the spring repair we had less than six months ago was so shoddy and unbalanced it's probably why our opener failed. Bakari explained all our options and there was absolutely no pressure or surprises. Our garage now runs smoothly and quietly. We will definitely have you guys do our door replacement in the Spring, and we will be asking that Bakari come for the estimate. Our service was not cheap, but the end result is far superior to the work of your competitor...I don't mention their name in writing because we don't believe in bashing businesses, but we will definitely send our friends your way and not to the other company.
