The service repairman contacted me to informed me that he could make the appointment early (This was great). The serviceman was pleasant and cordial. He greeted me with a hello and a handshake! He reviewed the work that needed to be completed and clearly explained each step as he began to work. He completed the work fast and expediently. When finished he explained the work completed and the cost of all parts and labor. He also provided me with an estimate for other work that I requested for the future. This is by far the most pleasant and professional experience with a company that I have ever encountered.

We called around 5pm to see if we could get a spring replaced that broke on our garage door. Technician Daniel arrived around 7pm. He repaired the door fast and efficiently. He did a great job! Thanks for the awesome Customer Service!!

The installers arrived right on time and got right to work. They worked tirelessly on the installation of the garage door. They were here until almost 8:00pm getting the door installed and working properly. They then took the time to go through the paperwork and the mechanics of the door. They left after cleaning up after themselves and making sure the door was working perfectly. I would highly recommend them. Their initial visit was the same day I called and that technician was also right on time and very helpful.

Daniel did a fantastic job. He arrived earlier than the scheduled. Did a quick but thorough check of the system and told me what was needed, then within an hour changed the broken spring, cables, wheel hubs and some rusted out hardware. The appointment was for 6 o'clock in the evening and I got at my house at 5:38 pm. The technician was already there waiting for me and it took him a half an hour to fix what it was broke. I'm very satisfied very good job.

About 12:20 P.M. on Saturday, New Years Eve, I noticed the torsion spring on my garage door had broken. My fear was that I would be locked out for the weekend. I found Precision Doors on the Yellow Pages, then checked their website for more information. I called Precision, and was told a tech would come between 2 and 4. Jason arrived about 1:45. He explained the two choices of springs that were available, and the reasons that both should be replaced together. Jason completed the installation and door operation check up to my satisfaction in about an hour. I would highly recommend Precision to my friends.

For the most part I am satisfied. The workers were terrific, friendly, clean, efficient and explained everything. My two concerns are that the metal vertical supports on the inside of the door appear to be thinner and cheaper than on my old door, and the price was quite high. I was in a hurry to get it fixed but if you have the time I would highly recommend getting multiple estimates.

James, Thank you for your feedback. That is a very good question. Years ago the vertical supports in older doors were much heavier, depending upon the thickness of the steel. The vertical supports do not actually bear any weight of the door, they are there for structural integrity. Some manufacturers would put heavier supports to compensate for the thinner steel skins. The older more heavier vertical supports also put undo weight and stress on the door and springs, causing them to have a shorter life span. Our doors are a 25 gauge steel skin which keeps its structural integrity better on its own without adding additional weight of heavy supports.
