$85 dollars for a tech to tell me my opener is broke. Yeah, I already new that. Stay away from Precision Garage Door.
When we arrived the homeowner had their operator on the floor in many pieces. We will not fix something that was entirely disassembled. We offered Mark options on replacing the opener that obviously was broken and Mark declined. The cost was our trip charge to come out and offer our professional opinion about Mark's situation and to service, repair or replace any components of his operator. In this case, we were not able to help Mark re-assemble his operator.

When our garage door refused to open one evening--leaving our cars uselessly stranded in the garage, first we panicked, then we hoped to find a 24 hour service. Stu arrived and we were thrilled to find him friendly, patient, extremely knowledgable and skilled. He took the time to explain before and after about the work needed and accomplished. He gave us important tips on keeping our door working efficiently for years to come. Our door now hums up and down quickly and quietly. Your company had been recommended to me by a friend. I had received great service from your company last year and when I needed assistance I felt you were the best place to go. As in the past, I received outstanding service! I was a little disappointed that no actual paper receipt was provided. I do have computer problems at times and like to have a paper copy for that reason. I had been so relieved that everything was fixed I never mentioned this to your service provider who really did do a great job!!

I called and they were here in 30 minutes. We had purchased a warranty a few years ago, and they looked it up and sent it to us to make sure we didn't get over charged. They accepted a coupon for the service fee and our door was fixed 1 hour after calling in. The service technicians were friendly and professional. They accepted checks and credit cards. I called Precision after a Yellow Pages search. After making the appointment I was able to read the reviews on our assigned technician and was confident that I had made the right choice. Stu came the next day and explained very clearly what had to be replaced. He was honest in his assessment and didn't try to sell us more than we needed (e.g. a new garage door).
