Frankly. I just picked you from the yellow pages. The repair tech. was wonderful. I'm sure he could tell from my questions, I didn't know what the heck I was talking about. I am very disappointed with Precision Door. My garage door broke on June 8th and had to buy a new garage door. The new door won't be installed until June 29th, 3 weeks without a garage. I would have hoped a garage door could be installed in a more timely manner. My opinion, 3 weeks is too long to be without your garage.

The technician really looked at my garage door/opener to determine the cause of problems and then patiently explained all of my options. I asked him to replace everything but the door, and he stayed until almost 8 PM to complete the job. I certainly appreciated his efforts and the same day service!

I got a LiftMaster Belt Drive Opener with MyQ Technology and a hardware overhaul package. Hard to hear if the door is opening or closing. Nice to be able to see the status of my door on my cell phone.

Technician was on time, knew exactly what was wrong, gave an estimate and had the opener fixed and adjusted within 45 minutes. He was polite and knowledgeable. The only reason that it wasn't a five was that I thought that the price was a bit high. I could have almost gone to Lowes and gotten a new one for what it cost, but since I know that my opener was good quality and didn't know about Lowe's openers I opted for the repair.

I initially called because my door had fallen off the rollers on a Thursday night. The phone person I talked to was very friendly and offered a dispatch, and reviewed my options. We ended up scheduling a Saturday morning appointment. Bakari the technician that came out Saturday morning was awesome and discussed my options for repair and replacement and decided that a replacement was more cost effective and would fix the root cause of the issue, instead of band-aiding the problem. Steve the installer that came out to perform the replacement was awesome as well, promptly replaced the door and explained to us what we needed to do to maintain the door so we didn't run into issues with it. I was initially hesitant due to reviews that mentioned high cost, but when we discussed the repair and replacement costs they were right in line with what I was expecting for professional service and quality. A+, would recommend.

We really needed a new door and called other stores and they all tried to get you to order by internet or by phone without sending someone out and I really like the time and an actual person coming to the house to help us with our needs. Called on a Sat at 2pm, they said a technician would be here between 6-8 pm and Mike Gonyo was here by 6:30 pm. He came to fix a broken spring and then pointed out that one of our cables was rusted and would likely break in about a year or 2. He showed us the problem and we had him swap out 2 new stainless steel cables in addition to the springs. He walked me through proper maintainence and added some low temp grease to the door opener screw drive. WOW! It is so much quieter! Mike was fast yet thorough. I highly recommend Precision!!

Service repairman Bakari Hernandez came to our home on a Sunday to investigate our opener which had stopped functioning. He quickly determined that our opener could not be repaired. He installed a new opener, explained the features and warranty, and removed our old opener and hardware. Our entire experience with Precision was wonderful from beginning to end and I highly recommend them.

I needed service on my garage door opener, as I thought that a lightning hit had fried the electronics while we were on vacation. Mike Gonyo came to my home, within a couple of hours of my call (I had expected to wait for days for a response). We discovered that the opener was fine, but a spider had been very busy and built a web completely covering one of safety beam eyes, which prevented the door's operation. So the fix was simple and easy....clean out the eye. Mike went on to test the door's operation, adjusted the spring tension, adjusted the closure fit, and lubricated all the moving parts. He was friendly, efficient and professional. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. You've got a customer for life. Thanks for a job well done. Give Mike 5 stars for this service call.
