Service provided: full maintenance on garage door. Replacement of springs, plates, rollers. Replacement of white vinyl top stop and Black vinyl bottom seal. My call was simply to replace the 2 vinyl stops that had worn down over the years. At your serviceman's strong encouragement, I went for a full array of improvements. Costing $900. My complaint centers on the 2 new vinyl seals installed. They were clearly not functioning properly by the completion of the job....getting caught in the door mechanism and leaving light gaps at bottom of door (prior stops did NOT have these issues.) Serviceman stated that the situation would correct itself with some use. I have waited til the end of the week -- 5 days with continuous use -- before responding to your survey. If anything the situation has gotten worse. I do hope to hear from you SOON and give you the opportunity to correct the situation. If not, my recourse would be to : 1) call Overhead Doors - who are excellent, but are not scheduling currently, to rectify the situation 2) post on our Dashboard ( Condo Assoc.) my dissatisfaction with your service 3) notify DATCAP, Better Business Bureau, etc. I'm sincere insaying I hope we can work this out. Right now I feel as if I've been taken advantage orby a less than professional company. Call me at 608-271-7975

Stu came out today and fixed our door guide. Thank you for the great service. It is always a pleasure to do business with people who understand that their real business is service not the products. It is getting harder and harder to find people committed to providing quality service like Stu. I spent more than forty years as a consulting engineer and our product was not documents for bidding but service to our clients. What made my job fun was helping our clients solve their issues related to wastewater treatment and conveyance. After trying numerous companies and either getting a “no we don’t service that” or getting no reply at all, I was referred to Precision. I called them yesterday and they were here today. Had it fixed very quickly and at a good price. Very courteous service people as well. I highly recommend and will be using them for all our garage door service needs in the future.

I chose Precision Door due to the positive comments on your website and your A+ rating from the BBB. I was in need of a garage door repair. You were prompt and able to visit my property the same day. I found the serviceman, Alex, to be knowledgeable and honest. He ended up replacing my opener and the seeing eyes. He explained things and talked about what I might expect in the future due to the age of the door and other components. The only negative comment would be regarding my initial call to request an appointment. During the conversation, I asked what the trip charge was and it was stated that it's $69.95. There was no mention at that time of the $15 fuel/environment charge. This should be made clear up front by the person answering the phone. OR just change your trip charge! I will likely use you again because Alex was great!

Alex installed a new garage door opener today after thoroughly explaining all the options. I am so happy to have a smoothly functioning door again, after being unable to open my garage door over Christmas! These things always seem to go wrong at the worst times. Alex was kind, friendly, and professional. He gets extra points for bringing in my two garbage cans, unasked!

I have used Precision Service a few years ago... very satisfied with the job. Our Cable broke now after many years. The Service person came right away, was very good to talk with & he explained what was wrong. Completed the job in good order & was very personable. Technician Rick was right on time and efficiently corrected a situation in which the wall anchor bracket for the operating track pulled away from the wall, and adjusted spring tension, a process that can be hazardous for those who might try to Do-It-Yourself. Reasonable charge. Great company and I'll call them again if need be.

I had just parked my car in the garage and closed the door. Heard a loud bang and both springs had broken along with one of the cables. I was in a bind. Car was stuck in the garage and I had an appointment later in the afternoon. Called Precision around 11:00 a.m. and after explaining my situation they were able to rearrange the schedule to get me an appointment between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Nick Oelze arrived just after 2:00 p.m. and was able to get the door opened so I could get my car out. He did an excellent job of explaining what needed repair. Which was just about everything but the door itself. He replaced everything that needed replacing and set up the new garage door opener. It works beautiful now. Much quieter. Only issue would be sticker shock at how much everything costs these days. Overall I am very pleased with the service I received from Precision. Would recommend to everyone.

Mike Faust was my repairman. He arrived on time and was polite, personable, competent and efficient. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them patiently.
