Jason Masch, Service Technician for Precision Door Service (PDS), was kind, courteous and very thorough on the job. He gave recommendations that may need to be looked at in the future and explained the work he performed that day. I was very happy with the services Jason rendered for me today. I received business cards that I maybe able to send some additional business to PDS. I would definitely call on PDS if needed again.

Despite horrible weather the installers did an amazing job getting the doors up. They worked tirelessly and made sure that every detail was done right. They explained how to get the best usage out of the doors and all of the little tricks to help make sure that everything lasted a long time.

I initially called Jim's Garage Door Service (who I've used in the past) and scheduled an appointment. The Tech didn't call or show up on the scheduled day/time. I emailed Jim's Garage Door Service and got an automated response. "Thanks for contacting us we'll contact you soon.", but they didn't. So I searched for another service in the Racine area. Precision has a lot of nice reviews, so I called and a Tech arrived, as scheduled; the next day. Kahala and his assistant did a great job. I removed and tossed the Jim's Garage Door sticker that was on my door; don't need it, I'll call Precision in the future.

I was having trouble with my garage door not closing with the opener in the recent sub-zero temperatures. Jezrel White came during the appointment time and explained that one of the sensors was not working properly. He replaced both sensors and made sure that the opener itself was in good condition. He did notice that my rollers are loose and need replacement sometime soon. I will be calling Precision to have that fixed this Spring as I did not want to make Jezrel do the repairs when it was only 5 degrees outside. Jezrel was courteous and explained everything very well.

Prompt, convenient, excellent work. Josh quickly figured out the problem -- a wire to the photo sensors had gotten caught in the spring and broke, not allowing the door to close. He patched the wire and stapled it to the ceiling so that it was completely clear of the spring. He also showed me how to manually open and close the door and did an overall inspection. I'll use Precision anytime I need anything to do with my garage doors.

Fast service, knowledgeable. technician, and quality work. Our garage door opener went out due to a lightning strike and we chose to just replace unit because of it's age. Brian did give us many option including what parts would need to be ordered if we wanted to fix the opener we had our new garage door opener fix the same day.

Our garage door opener was not installed today, but the tech told me what needed to be done before the install and was very informative on what needed to be done. He was an immense help and I plan too have an electrician re-route wiring that was in the way as he was not legally able to do. We needed a LISENCED ELECTRICIAN for the small wiring job. A great informed tech and was curtious. I plan to call and re-schedual the install with him as soon as next week.

Your large ad provided an immediate response from friendly local staff and they were efficientat the service. Plus, I received a 5 year warranty. However, I only wished I would have received a better discount for buying all that was offered. I only had one broken spring. A second spring and a bearings were also installed.

Replacing your single spring system with a two spring system will ensure a better operating door that will extend the life of the springs and your operating system. And you did receive a discount for purchasing a package. Which provided you a savings of $214.00!

From the start Harris was helpful in explaining what needed to be done to make the garage door work properly. He was very polite and professional and gave me all my options including the costs. I was very impressed with Mike's professional and friendly manner. Mike took the time to educate this 1st time homeowner on how to care for the garage door, what to look for and when it would be time to call a technician. It was a very cold evening and I would think I was his last job for the day and wanting to get home, but he took his time. I give him a BIG pat on the back for the GREAT job. 18 hours after discovering my broken garage door spring, I have a fully operating door with all new parts and it looks/sounds a million times better. In addition, I learned way more than I ever expected about garage doors and their upkeep!!! Stu was very patient with explaining it all to me and then my husband again when I called him to discuss options. He showed me all the old parts/issues and how to take care of the new rollers and door overall. He checked the whole system out and even took a look at the other door "since he was there" just to make sure it was all good to go too! No one likes to have an issue but I love that we found a great new ally to add to our phonebook for when those unexpected problems do show up.

Ken was on time to the minute. He was very courteous and helpful and fixed a minor problem that didn't really need repair, but needed an expert to show me how to resolve it. He suggested I could use new rollers for easier running and less noise, but I can't afford them at this time. If I do replace them in future, I will be sure to call on Precision Door.

I wasnâ??t sure what was needed to correct our noisy garage door problem, but felt certain the old garage door opener would need to be replaced. I was not wanting to do the install myself because I wasnâ??t sure what adjustments, lubrication, and such would be needed for the old door, I knew I wanted to hire someone who knew what they were doing and would be able to do the repairs. I found Precision Garage Door Service in the yellow pages, and chose them because their ad is professional and they looked like a business that would stand behind there products. I further checked out their web page that only re-enforced that feeling. Without pushing me to towards anything, Mike gave me the information needed make the best possible choice. He confirmed my thoughts about the door opener, and gave me a run down on the products heâ??d recommend for just replacing the door opener. Though Mike and Ken informed me that the door was in reasonably good shape for as old as it was, it would require a more powerful chain driven opener to operate it. After finding out roughly what a new door would cost, I decided that to chance the doors failure in the future (the looked in good shape, but was old and hard to move by hand), I chose to replace the door. Furthermore, the price Precision quoted me gave me the ability to go with higher quality door than I would have probably chosen otherwise. I am very pleased with Mikeâ??s & Kenâ??s thoughts, knowledge, professionalism, and there friendly nature.

We're very happy with the new garage door opener, remotes and keypad. It's all very up-to-date compared to our old opener, which was installed in 1996. The guys were friendly and professional. Verdict: Highly recommended.
