Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.
Types of Reviews
This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.
At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.
This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.
This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.
This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

The job was done swiftly but carefully. Took maybe 20 minutes at the most. No new equipment needed. The price of $117 was a lot for 20 minutes work.

After having a old garage door opener replaced and seeing the massive difference in operation and quietness, we decided to go ahead and replace the other opener and both garage doors. Rob showed up when he said he would, identified the issue right away and fixed it pronto. He knows garage doors and openers and did a great job explaining what was going on with ours and predicting its remaining life expectancy. We intend to replace our garage door this summer and will definitely contact Rob first.

Rob and Joe did a great job. They replaced cables, rollers and end bearings. They didn't try to oversell me anything that was not needed. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. Very impressed with both of them.
My only negative is that I thought the price was high. The initial $ trip fee and the markup on the parts seemed a bit much...$/roller and $/ end bearing.
However, I was in a real bind with my cars trapped in the garage and Precision was able to come out with 2.5 hours after I called where other repair places could not so I was happy overall.
I would use Precision again if they bring their cost for parts to a 50% markup.

It is my fault I don't remember who came, I just know he
had an accident with a deer. I had another person came out
and they realized I had an old fixture and would have to come the next day. When evaluated it was realized that it would continue to break since it was an old setup and the door was heavy for our setup. I had recently lost my husband so it was helpful to get this fixed forever and not have to deal with it again. Thanks
