Jezrel is originally from Michigan and has two brothers. Jezrel loves just about any sport and recently has taken up bowling. In his free time he likes to get together with friends for a game of basketball. Jezrel also enjoys reading books on finance and travel and playing video games; he's always up for a challenge. One of Jezrel's greatest achievements was becoming an All State running back in High School. The reason Jezrel enjoys working at Precision Door is the opportunity to provide the best solutions one on one with customers.

$490 is alot to pay for 2 cable assemblies and reset Springs. Jezrel is an asset to your company. Very polite and very knowledgeable at what he does.

Thank you for the review. I realize that the cost you paid may seem expensive, however we have superior products and have the warranties to back them up. Sometimes "peace of mind" is worth the expense.

We were very satisfied with the whole process. I knew the technician, Jezrel White, from prior service work, so I requested his assistance. He was out as soon as possible and made a recommendation. The technicians were excellent - very knowledgable, friendly, polite & timely. They called before arriving and got the job done in good time. Very pleased with my experience. I was a bit startled by the cost, though. I wish the customer service folks had mentioned how much it would cost for the counter balance reset of the springs (an unexpected $150 added to my bill at the end - ouch - just to reset the springs we already have, no new springs included in the purchase cost). I don't know much about garage doors, but it seems to me that this should have obviously been included in a rough, verbal estimate over the phone and it wasn't. It nearly doubled the amount I was expecting to pay. So, just beware of this added cost. Looking at other company estimates to reset springs, this is definitely on the higher end of what I'm finding.

Julie, often times it is hard to determine the work involved over the phone with cable issues. That is why, once we have done our inspection and recommendations, you are in complete control of whether you would like to move forward with the repair or not based on the costs.

Your service technician (Jezrel White) was very thorough in fixing my garage door. He pointed out the worn and rusted hardware, and I agreed that those parts should be replaced. He replaced the broken spring that was the main cause of the garage door malfunction. I would recommend Precision to my neighbors who have garage door problems.

Jezrel definitely seems to know what he is doing. He is a very nice person as well. To start, a small cable on the side of the garage door had rusted through and the garage door was not closing. They have a trip charge to come look at it for $69. I have had the garage door for over 12 years and it was installed in the house long before that. I know the cost of the cable is very minimal, but like a lot of things, repairs need to be done. In order to do this the springs have to be unwound and both cables on each side have to be replaced along with some rusted hinges. As the springs were at least 12 years old they are also likely to break. To do the cable work with the trip charge, it was going to be about $350, but if the springs broke later it will cost me another $300 or so. So I asked him what's the most I could spend? Their "package" is $799 to fix everything and you get a Lifetime Warranty. I decided to just do it all now and I should be good for quite a while. It took about 1.5 hours and the door looks and works very nice. While I didn't want to spend that much, again it's a necessity. Got to be able to open the garage door. It used to have some gaps but alot of that has been squared away and it is working great.

I wish to praise a worker of yours by the name of Mr. Jezrel White, who works out of the Madison, WI area. He has been to my home twice in the last 6 months to (1) install a new LiftMaster opener and (2) to repair a broken spring on my garage door. This gentleman is a hard worker, so very polite, courteous and respectful! I cannot say enough good things about this young gentleman, except that this company is so very fortunate to have him on the payroll!

He explained everything to a T....did the repair but explained that since it is 23 years old may not be the solution. ...but the warranty covered us for 90 Days and if we need a new one they would credit us. Would call them back in a heartbeat.
