Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.
Types of Reviews
This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.
At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.
This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.
This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.
This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Excellent experience. After a house painting this spring I decided to have the garage door replaced. Stu came to my home, on time, and mentioned he could upgrade the door I had priced earlier and it would be $100 less. Then he saves me another $100 by suggesting I use a valpac coupon. I didn't have one so he gets one for me. Then he asks if I want the new door installed that afternoon. Fine with me.
Tom shows up several hours later and does a great job. Old one out and new one installed in about 3 hours.
The door looks good and operates well. Just a very pleasant experience.

Mike did a FANTASTIC job repairing our garage door. It broke at 5pm and our vehicles were stuck inside. Our door is 300 lbs., so there was no way we were going to be able to get to work on time in the morning. I called the number from the website and they gave me a window from 8pm-10pm when the service technician would arrive. He called at 8:45 to let us know he would be there in 15 min. He was extremely professional and kind even though he had been working since 6am that morning. It wasn't an easy job as our door is apparently a very tight fit. He got the job done efficiently and the door hasn't been this quiet since we moved here. I would highly recommend Precision and especially Mike Gonyo! Keep up the outstanding work!

When I initially called, the operator was very helpful and professional. She confirmed all of my information (last name is "Boden" by the way) and also stated I would receive an e-mail before the visit with photos of the technitian who would come to my house. However the e-mail did not come through until hours after the technitians had already left our house and the technitians who came were different than who she had said would be coming. The technitians were very polite, professional and informative. Having spoken to a few coworkers who had similar work done recently, we found the prices to be rather high for this type of service. But we did appreciate the prompt and professional service.

I found Precision Door on the web. Same day repair is what caught my eye! It was a pleasant experience from that point on. From the friendly gal that made the appointment, to the prompt arrival of Mike. I had 2 doors that were in need of repair. Mike explained everything before starting his work, and in about 45 minutes I had two working doors, that worked better that they ever had before. Mike was a super nice guy, and his work was top notch. The entire process from the time I called to schedule, to the finished job took about 3 and a half hours. Incredible. When my wife came home, I got a big hug.

I called you when the cable broke (I thought) on my garage door. I was given an appointment time between 5 and 7PM and asked that the tech call before he came. About 5:40 Mike called and said he would be here around 6:00 and we agreed he would call when he arrived. AT 6:00 he called to tell me that he was here and I went out to meet him and open the service door. When we (he) inspected the problem, it showed that the cable did not break but had come off of the drum. Mike then said he has going to try to reset the door. After working on it for some time, even though he wanted to keep trying to make the old system work, upon seeing the condition of one of the old drums, I made the decision to go with the conversion. He then proceeded to do a very professional job of converting my old system.
One other thing that impressed me was the appointment email, It really gave me a "warm fuzzy" that I had picked a good company. I figured anyone who posts their employee's pictures on that email was not about to rip me off.

Prompt service. Called when he was on his way. Pointed out what was broken and needed repair as well as what was wearing but not yet broken. Provided separate quotes for fixing the broken parts and another quote for what it would cost to also replace the worn parts. Helpfully gave a ball-park estimate as to how long the wearing parts would last so I could decide what I currently wanted to replace. He had a pre-emptive, informative, but not overly pushy approach. Courteous, and quick repair.
