Precision Garage Door Company History

Beginning as a family business in the late 1980's, Precision Door Service organized as a partnership in 1997. With aspirations of building the best garage door company in America, the founders began a franchise program that was specifically designed for success based on customer satisfaction. Since 1997 Precision Overhead Garage Door Service has expanded across the United States and into Canada with over 70 locations.

In 2004, Precision Door Service ranked #13 in the top 20 new franchises by Entrepreneur Magazine and also ranked #227 in the Entrepreneur Magazine Franchise 500. In 2005 the Spirit of Success was awarded from Southwestern Bell. The corporate headquarters is in Titusville, Florida.

Wisconsin Precision Door Service History

Brian and Kelly Hennings, Owners of the Southeastern Wisconsin Precision Overhead Garage Door Service and Repair Company, opened for business in October of 2002 in Omaha, Nebraska. Brian attended the Certified Technician Training Program himself and worked side by side with the staff during the first several years of operation. The Hennings believed in a family owned and operated business where they would be able to provide personalized customer attention, but also appreciated the benefits that research, development and systematic programs a National Franchise 500 company could offer their customers as well.

Under the Hennings' leadership, the Omaha team flourished and during a short 3 year period of time expanded business into Lincoln, Council Bluffs, and Fremont, Nebraska and on into Des Moines, Iowa. As referrals from valued customers poured into the business, Precision Door Service of Omaha grew tremendously renewing the Hennings' commitment and mission to provide the best in parts, training and service to each and every customer.

In October of 2005, Brian and Kelly Hennings opened up the Southeastern Wisconsin market with the same assurance to Wisconsin homeowners. Within the first two years of operation, through consistency, teamwork, and word of mouth appreciation from pleased customers, Precision Door Service of Wisconsin more than doubled its business. With an expertly staffed fleet of fully stocked trucks the Precision Door Service team hits the road running 7 days a week and even provides customers in need with round the clock emergency service.

In March of 2008 the Hennings finalized the purchase of commercial land in Lisbon, Wisconsin (Hwy F & Hwy K) which will soon become the new home for Precision Overhead Garage Door Service of Wisconsin. Although Nebraska natives, the Hennings now call Lisbon, Wisconsin home.
